Dark Chocolate SCHO-KA-KOLA with natural Caffeine from Cocoa, Cola-Nut-Powder and Coffee 6 tins x 100 g / Germany

Introduced at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany, and advertised as a “Sport Chocolate”. I have been purchasing Scho-Ka-Kola for several years now and was ordering from a source in Finland, but so happy that an Amazon supplier now provides the product. Do the math and each piece equals about a mug and a half of coffee, so be careful! Do keep from over drinking coffee, I have one piece with a glass of water in the morning. That gets me through the rush hour. Then after the coffee break at work, I will take another piece to get me through the afternoon, so two pieces a day is my max. The packaging of the product is great and it will keep in your bag or case but try to keep the bag or case in a cool place…and make sure to leave the tin in your car or discard before going through the airport!!! 😊

Pricey. But still great boost of energy and left over container for reuse. Would be amazing if they had a 1940s ish style anniversary 💀😂

I’ve read numerous stories about how the German Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe and others used Scho-Ka-Kola from emergency rations, energy supplements and just as a “pick-me-up”. The flavor is a bit bitter but extremely rich. Well worth spending a bit more for this legendary chocolate!

Very good chocolate with a little energy kick. Made for the athletes of the 1936 Olympics. A bit pricey but I like the product and will keep it in my home. Saw it on YouTube, Steve 1989 did a review on some 1942 Scho-ka-kola. Had to have it.

Because theses come from Germany in the past when I've ordered them they have been oxidized. (That white film on old chocolate). They still work them we're fine for the caffeine dick. However this batch looks like it's almost fresh from the factory and the flavor is incredible. I will be ordering from this seller again in the future.

Found in tunic pockets, bread bags or assault frames of nearly ever German sailor, airman and soldier, Scho-Ka-Kola is energy in a can. ,Eight segments comprise the round bar of which there are two in every tin. when eaten slowly Scho-Ka-Kola rejuvenates quickly. Well it should it's dark chocolate infused with cola nut Be warned like Lays Potato chips ,you can't just have one.

I like the semisweet flavor. In the mouth feels a bit dry and powdery, but not unpleasant. As a drinker of strong coffee, I didn’t notice the caffeine. As might be expected riding in an Amazon truck on a summer day, it melted some. I’ll re-order in late fall.

Great taste of dark German Chocolate and strong espresso after taste. The product has been in production since before World War 2. I like it added to a cup of hot coffe or milk.
