great part - no problem
it has been 3 months I placed this part in and the car run great. when receiving the part, you want to make sure of its integrity, they left a small piece of duct tape (silver color actually). the repair was fairly straightforward to complete.

JUNK! Liars!
First off I would leave negative stars if that was possible. Second it says the valve body is a koauto valve body, I received a vw model. Anyways, it also says it’s remanufactured, I looked inside the solenoids and there was broken plugs inside them from the last guy who took it out. Continued with the install, got it together car wouldn’t shift into 4th and would slam into 3rd. Took it back out of the car and took it apart and the channels are full of gunk of some sort. Put my old valvebody back in and it shifted like a dream. Remanufactured should be cleaned inside and out and it was not. Talked with customer service and they wanted to give me a partial refund and I keep the item. Hell No I ain’t doing that. Then got to a point where they won’t even respond.

Good quality
Overall good quality... very good value for the price.Came with what looked like a genuine oe wiring harness. If your 01M is slipping this probably won't help, but for late/early or sloppy shifts this could be the ticket!Worked for me, I'd buy it again.

Over 1000 miles and all is well.
The rebuilt valve body for my 2001 VW Jetta TDI was delivered promptly and well packaged. It included a new OEM Solonoid cable. Installation went as expected, with no problems. After driving over 1000 miles everything seems to be working great. Very satisfied so far.

Great part but arrived in rough shape
OEM VW valve body for 01M transmissions fit my 2004 2.0 Jetta GLS perfectly and works great. The clip on one of the solenoids was cracked in half when the part arrived, but everything fit into place well and works fine. Purchased to remedy a P0743 code and the car locking itself in gear. My car still shifts a little hard between 2nd and 3rd, but I think that's because of high mileage and clutches being slightly worn. It's important to know that, depending on your issue, after the valve body has been replaced you NEED to reset the TCM in the car. Especially if you throw a code like mine. If the TCM isn't reset the car doesn't know to readapt and take itself out of "safe mode" and will stay in third gear, which can fry your tranny over time. Luckily I have a buddy with VAG-COM software and was able to reset the TCM in like 3 minutes. Will update if anything comes up. Overall even with having to find a VAG-COM the price on this part beats the $1300 quote from a transmission shop. Hope this helps someone!

Controls the "attitude" of your transmission’s shifting perfectly!
Works absolutely perfectly!Be sure to use a new filter and it’s useful to get a new pan gasket.Know exactly how much new fluid to use by measuring the extracted fluid if you aren’t using VAG.There’s an important adjustment on the gear selector piston relay rod— best you not disturb yours: leave the Torx screw in place.

Fault unit.... paid a lot of money...
Bought this item and one of the pump sensor is bad... paid a lot for a product that’s not working... spent a lot of money...

Not cleaned
I wish I would’ve taken a photo. The mounting service had not been attempted to be cleaned. Neither had any of the internals. They didn’t even remove the O-ring seal from the filter. It was basically a used valve body with new solenoids and a new harness in the box. The price was cheap enough, I guess I got what I paid for.
