Heckedy Peg (A Voyager/Hbj Book)

I loved this as a kid ! So I ordered a copy for my nephew and I a copy for myself I love having this book again !

The illustrations are amazing and I really enjoy the story! Yes to the book!!!

I ordered this book to read to my toddlers because I remembered loving it as a kid. It's absolutely nuts!!! However, I love it, it's dark and crazy, and my kids really like it when I act out the scenes. A mother faking amputating her own feet is -- one heck of a vibe, but both me and my weirdo kids are into it..

This was one of my children’s favorite books and had to add it to my collection for my grandchildren!

Had to get it since I remember reading this in my childhood from the 90’s.

My daughter, now 31, loved Heckedy Peg as a young child, so I recently bought it for my 4-year-old granddaughter. She, too, is entranced by the story and the art. Highly recommend.

This is one of the best children’s books I have ever encountered. As a recently retired Head teacher after 25 years of headship, I have yet to find a better book. The illustrations alone, the clear and almost shocking story, the happy ending... it’s marvellous!

purchased this book for my son's girlfriend - this was one of her favorite childhood books. She loved it and was so surprised that I was able to get it for her.

Loved this book as a kid and had to get it again! The quality of the book is excellent! Definitely recommend!
