So, the bad news is.....
So, the bad news is....good luck keeping this away from your husband.I was originally going to give this to my nephew for Christmas, but when it came in, my husband commandeered it and said we're keeping it for our son. When I told him it wasn't an appropriate toy for an 8 month old, he said we could just keep it until he was older, but in the meantime he needed to test it out to make sure it worked.So while our son napped, my 6'3" husband sprawled out on the living room floor to play with these things. He has made a bridge, a geometric shape that he has stolen and brought to work as a pen cup to put on his desk, and after I went to bed that night he decided to make a giant tower that is now our candy dish :-IAfter all that, they're are still pieces left over and they come in a nice bucket, carrying case.He's already said we have to order more when our kid gets a little older so they can make huge things.All in all, this is a great gift for a kid or a grown man.

Fine motor skills
I’ve been looking at some fine motor skill toys for my son to play with to help build tone in his hands and this is great... it’s easy enough for him to get the connectors in the holes of the balls to where he can do it himself but it also challenges him.... my daughter also loves building things with them AND my husband! We’ve been sitting here for an hour building stuff it’s a lot of fun! There is enough items to make a few things at the same time so you don’t have to make one then take it apart to make another which is nice... and the toy seems to be made of pretty sturdy plastic so nothing is easily broken.

Better than video games!!!
My 9 year old loves this! I hate for him to want to spend all his free time on electronics and this seems to do the trick. I like that he has to have a plan for what he is wanting to build and has to take time to figure it out and organize the parts, it really makes him think! There's a lot of parts so there's so many things that can be out together with a bit of creativity. It comes in a nice storage container for an easy clean up!

Highly recommend it to creative and imaginative kids
A wonderful toy for my 4 yr old and 7 yr old sons. Within 1 hr of opening the package of the STEM toy delivered by Amazon , my kids tried 6 different formations like a spider, flower , racing car, a car, a lift etc., I think if they try from reference material booklet, this toy can engage them for many days. Iam happy to gift my kids these kind of toys which engage them for a long time and improve their fine motor skills. This saved me from giving a tab/ laptop to play games.

This actually is a Christmas gift for my nephew. Looks very nice and I like that the blocks come in it’s own carrying container. I’m sure he’ll be very happy with this gift.

Terrific Toys for the Tots
We just received these education building blocks for our grandchild. She fell in love with them and plays with them all day. This was the ideal gift for her. Once we receive more offerings from this vendor/person, we will be buying more as we have another grandchild who currently lives in France. What a great Christmas Gift for the little ones.

Great item and hours of fun
This was a huge hit with out 8 yr old daughter. Even our toddler plays with her. They can sit for hours building new things each time. Totally worth it!

Easily comes apart
Parts do not stay snapped together, difficult to adjust pieces as it will easily come apart. Would not recommend if wanting to piece together parts to make more than a straight line or simple shapes.Of note, the seller responded and acknowledged my concerns; I was provided a refund.
