The best Grand Moff Tarkin action figure ever!
This is the and I love the Mouse Droid the only reason i put four stars in stead of five is the price around $20. but was the best deal around. In the photo it looks like he has red hair. But lucky the toy has grey hair and looks just like he did in the movie!

Good Tarkin, Not Great
Pluses are the articulation, head sculpt, and overall sculpt. Really good ANH Tarkin except 1 thing, the skirt. Just really kind of stands out and the color doesn't match perfectly. I know they used cloth b/c they didn't want to affect leg articulation but did Tarkin really need to be dynamic poses. Probably should have went sculpted not cloth.

Great!
My son and husband are huge Star Wars fans, they were very happy with the harder to find characters! For collectors information- they all came in great condition on un-punched cards! (happy husband!)

but a good figure otherwise
A bit expensive, and his cheekbones are ridiculously sharp, but a good figure otherwise

Almost perfect
It's great to finally see an updated version of Tarkin. Hasbro made a lot of improvements, but it isn't perfect - and that's a shame. First, the cloth skirt actually looks pretty decent in person. I would have preferred a plastic skirt, but that's no reason not to get this figure. What does bring the figure down is the paint on the skin. Tarkin's skin is way too pale and looks lifeless. The sideburns aren't painted either. The figure is definitely worth getting and ranks at 4.5 stars, but I really hope Hasbro takes one more shot at this figure to make it a 5-star figure.

At last the Tarkin we have been waiting for
Grand Moff Tarkin was a noticeable omission from the original Kenner line of Star Wars figures back in 1977 and fans had to wait 20 years before finally getting a version in the new Power of the Force line. This Vintage Collection release of Tarkin is a much improved sculpt and comes with a mouse droid. With the Vintage style cardback, this figure finally rights a great wrong.
