Decent wheels for great price
Writing this review as a beginner roller skater who hasn’t tried many wheels yet. I bought these to replace the wide derby wheels that came stock with my skates. Been skating with them daily for a month. The Zen Sonars are a decent wheel at a good price. Best surface is smooth concrete. They perform pretty good on the brushed finish concrete at my local park as well. Small gravel & small twigs aren’t really an issue but things get gnarly with bigger debris. I don’t like them on rough asphalt or the wide gaps on my local sidewalks. I don’t have great cushions on my skates so better cushions may help assist the wheels with less vibration, more smoothness on those surfaces. They seem very durable. I do wonder how a softer 78a wheel would perform outside compared to these hybrid wheels.

Handing outdoor asphalt trails well
These are my first set of outdoor wheels. I am new to outdoor skating, and I have been using these on a local rail trail that has pretty smooth asphalt and they are working well for me. I have nothing to compare them to but they are handling small twigs, small rocks and other small hazards with no problems, and after using them for 15-20 miles of skating so far, they are holding up well for me. I may explore other wheels eventually after these wear out.

Great roll and absorption of bumps and cracks
Very fast delivery. Ive been skating on these outdoor wheels for over 10 years. They are under utilized in the roller skating community. Great roll and absorption of bumps and cracks. Narrow and light so great for skate parks too. They don't feel heavy and cumbersome like a lot of outdoor wheels do to being narrow and 85A. Great wheel for the money!

So far so good. Sure-grip Kryptonics Route 65 are also great & ...
Outdoor park path/trail skating 10-15 miles as often as weather permits. I got these for cheap in Feb and by June had to replace. Worn down and although i got them for the small diameter & width, they slowed me down & were not the appropriate wheels for this type of (endurance) skating. Replaced with Atom Pulse wheels. So far so good. Sure-grip Kryptonics Route 65 are also great & durable outdoor wheels.

They're durable!
I've had these wheels for about a month and I love these! They're the cheapest wheels I found and they're really durable!

Only 4 wheels not 8
The title description says this listing is for an 8 pk. You only get 4 wheels and no bearings. The bearing I don’t mind but I sure wish the listing title said 4. Probably still would have bought them and would have ordered what I needed. Can’t skate with 4 wheels.

Great Traction, Speed, and Value
These have exceeded my expections as a beginner quad skater / skilled inliner. Great grip on hockey rink turf. Great speed. If you set these up right with spacers(apparently something quad skaters don't do) you'll have infinite spin, with zero resistance, and absolutely no noise(because with spacers you can tighten the wheel all the way down and it still spins freely). As for the wheel lacking a hub, again, it doesn't seem to be an issue with speed, dexterity, or stability. I can't speak on longevity because I've only been using these for about two months.Note about the spacer, with quads, you're going to have to use a particular length (and hard to find) spacer. You need 8mmx8mm spacers for a standard 8mm skate axel. Amazon sells one by Ucell (search for B07JLZ3MKV). These aren't designed for skating, but they'll do until you can find the right one.

Good kids rink wheel
A review of Sonar Zen Outdoor Skate Wheels - 4-Pack . Color: Yellow. A month ago we got our daughter Riedell Wave's but she wanted a 'candy' look for her wheels. We got a pack of yellow and a pack of pink and crossed the colors. She uses them solely for rink skates and after one month still loves them. She's a beginner and only skating six months, mostly on rentals. These wheels have been wearing great and look great with good stick. Very good for rink. Con: the inside edge is cut straight giving it an angular unfinished look (not rounded like the outside). She loves them regardless.
