Beautiful! Be careful with cats, however
I really loved these lights. I used them to hang around the apartment during Christmas and the lights were vibrant without an overpowering brightness. I loved that there were alternative lighting/blinking options on them. I didn't use them bc I'm prone to headaches from lights so I just had the consistent lights on. 10/10 would recommend. The only thing is they did not make it to Christmas because my cats chewed through the cords... But they were gorgeous while they lasted!

Just what I needed
I actually use these as a night light in my living room. They are pretty and long enough to stretch around pretty much the whole room, giving a nice diffuse illumination.

Nice lights, but the length makes it cumbersome
Nice looking lights, very durable (I leave them out in the rain). The color is a bit more yellow-y than incandescent lights, but it's a fairly agreeable color and looks good on a tree.My only complaint is that there are no connectors, so you can't string multiple lights together. This makes it a lot more difficult to store the lights (constantly getting tangled), not to mention dressing a tree or hedge with lights since you have to fumble around with a huge roll.

Nice lights
Great lights! I got these because my lights that I hang in the break room at work would not work this year. I bought replacement bulbs first, which was a waste of time and money. I did finally get them to work, but they were so dim, you could barely tell they were on. I got these a couple days after Christmas, but I went ahead and strung them up anyway. They are quite long, they went all the way around the break room one and a half times. Very impressed with how many different settings are built into this unit, though some of them look like they could trigger a seizure in light sensitive individuals. Very happy with my purchase.

So glad I got rid of the old bulbs
I ordered 2 sets of 1,000 LED strands for our Christmas tree this year. We have always put a somewhat excessive amount of lights on our tree, and I realized one year after measuring the power draw from our Christmas tree that it wasn't exactly easy on the power bill. When I got these lights in, I plugged them into my meter to measure their power draw, and also grabbed a couple strands of regular old incandescent white LED lights. I discovered that not all incandescent light strands are created equal. My results from the regular old incandescent lights ranged from 18W to 32W per strand of 100 lights. Testing these LEDs, however, resulted in less than 7.5W per THOUSAND lights! I kid you not, 2,000 LEDs on our tree drew right around 15W, which was less than 100 of the regular old incandescent lights. I figured these LED lights will pay for themselves on our power bill if I get two Christmases out of them, and I already got one. I performed all tests with the lights on constant, by the way. Flashing would consume less power. In terms of brightness, I would not call these LEDs just as bright as the regular incandescents. Plan on buying more LEDs than you used with your regular lights in the past. In previous years we used around 1,400 incandescent bulbs on our trees, and I think 2,000 was the right number for us with the LEDs.I do have some words of advice about these though- Getting 1,000 lights on a single strand can really be a pain. It was the cheapest option when calculating cost per light, but if you value your sanity, you might want to buy several smaller strands. Working with such a long strand on the tree was a pain, so was removing it. Storing them is also becoming a headache. These lights come on a cheap cardboard spool which doesn't seem like it will work very well for storage, since there's no way I can get these wrapped around the spool as well as they came from the factory. Other ready-made Christmas tree light storage spools don't seem to have 1,000 lights in mind. I still haven't figured out a good storage solution.

Durable Lights
Bought my first set of these 2 years ago and have left them hung up for the whole time. Have seen rain, hail, 100 degree temps and negative temps along with large amounts of snow and they still work perfectly. Since then have purchased 2 more strings. As long as the quality doesn’t change they are a good buy.

Completely happy with these lights
Update-Fyi- We needed 1 set of 300 and 1 set of 100 to wrap our (extremely large) Christmas tree. Keep in mind you can't connect these sets back to back 😉. Still love these lights!Update- 2 months later: These lights are on every day for 4-7 hours and they are going strong! Just ordered 2 more strands for our house and tree.We live in a log cabin and keep lights on our loft railing year round. In 4 years we have been through too many "traditional" Christmas lights to count. I searched the internet for a set of warm LED lights for a couple of months before finally landing on these. I wanted the longevity and efficientcy of LED, but warmth is also a top priority. The color is exactly what we wanted and unwinding them was super easy. The only downside is they could be just a tad bit brighter. Other than that, love them!
