Allo Sharp Kitchen Knife (6 inch) 1

The Allo knife is a beautiful addition to your daily cooking tools. It comes nicely presented in a flip top, magnetic closed box. If you were giving the knife as a gift you could do so proudly. The knife itself is quite attractive with a lovely wood grain handle continuing with the wood grain simulated throughout the super sharp stainless steel blade. The Allo knife is well balanced and quite comfortable in hand. I've only had the knife a short time, but it assists me in completing quality work in my kitchen and I feel it will become a favorite.

I've been using this for about a month now, pretty much every day. It's still as sharp as the day it came. I love the wood grain design on the blade. Hand washing has been a breeze because noting really clings to the knife. The handle feels great to hold even for long periods of time. I'd buy this again and the price is great so I'd even consider giving as a gift.

I just received this knife and I must say it truly exceeded my expectations. A great quality product for a very attractive price! Not only is it a beautiful piece it was very sharp out of the box. I used it to cut up vegetables and it sliced right through without them sticking. Very easy to hold and cut with. Wish they had other sizes to purchase.

It isn't the sharpest knife, but it cannot be described as dull either. It actually cuts pretty good for what it is. It isn't expensive and that is it's finest attribute. I use mine occasionally, usually in early winter, to cut up game. It needs a little honing between uses, but manages to stay sharp enough when I'm using it. I could do without the fake damascus finish on the blade. To me that just looks cheap and silly. Sort of like carbon-fiber stickers on automotive body panels. The knife is good enough that it shouldn't need a gimick to sell. It's sharp, that's the most important aspect of a good knife.

Overall the knife is average. It's nice a sharp out of the box. I was a little disappointed to see that it isnt actually damascus, the design is laser etched into the blade.

As most knives it’s sharp and cuts potatoes or any root vegetables really easy. My daughter loved it that now coming over I have sharper knives. Hopefully these will cut as well after a year or so. My others fell short and didn’t sharpen well. It does have weight to it but that’s ok for those that can handle it.

We have had this knife for a while now. Still extremely sharp. Seems to be just as sharp as the first use. We usually wash and dry it right after use and put it back in the fantastic box it came in. Keeps it safe and clean. Well worth the price for quality. The damascus on the blade also makes it much less likely to have certain foods stick it to while cutting and slicing.

What a great value! I'd pay twice as much for this chef knife. For true connoisseurs, the balance isn't perfect, or the forge -- its not that kind of knife. But, if you're looking for solid quality and really good looks fora low cost, this is the knife.
