Description Neo-Poly-Dex is a multiple steroid eyedrop prescribed to help treat bacterial infections of the eyes and eyelids. Broad-spectrum action helps to treat different bacteria and it contains a corticosteroid that can help relieve related eye swelling and inflammation. Veterinarians use this medication to treat companion animals. Uses This medication is indicated for the treatment of infection and inflammation in the eye. Possible Side Effects This medication is usually tolerated well. It can cause your pets eyes eye to sting for a short time when first applied. Dexamethasone can cause side effects like increased drinking/urination, and other symptoms if ingested. This medication can also cause infection more easily if used for longer periods.
