Great user friendly simple belt
The buckle is easy to work with, which is not the case with most similar webbing belts. The quality is very good. As good as the more expensive belts of this type. A stretch version woukd be good also. This might be doable DIY by swapping out the standard webbing with an elastic version. That would require restiching and would not be quickly interchangeable.

Basic belt
Very basic belt with a quick lock/detach. Can you find better? Yes definitely, but not at this price. I fly fish for wild trout and taken this belt well beyond the beaten path. I got it as a last second purchase (meant to replace) that was made when I realized I had lost my belt the week of a big trip. Two seasons later and this one is still holding strong.

Can't beat it for the price; easy to improve it bit...
I use this as an additional belt to wear my Folstaf wading staff. To make it easier to thread the end of the belt through the buckle, I cut the end of the belt to a half-circle then melted the edges with a lighter. To stiffen the end to make it even easier to thread, heat the flat sides (the whole sides, not just the edges) of the end of the belt to near-melting, then quickly press it between two flat objects. This will stiffen it. You could also apply a thin coat of epoxy, UV resin, etc. to achieve the same goal.

Good Belt.
Not real heavy duty but it was sufficient. The belt is nice & long so I used it over my shoulder to support the weight of my loaded clam net. Had it out several times, the buckle held securely & no problems at all.

Good basic belt. You don't need anything fancy.
Picked up the Frogg Toggs wader belts to go along with the Proline rubber chest waders that I bought for my field staff. Perfect in construction and price. Nice and simple.Proline is too darn cheap to include a belt with their waders ... it's like selling a safety helmet without a damn liner. But that's a different story for a different review.

Takes too long to connect anytime you wear it.
Terrible, inferior to other brands. This has no snap mechanism which would be 2 ends you would simply snap together. The only way to close this belt is to snake the fabric strap thru a tiny slot & keep pulling it, that takes too long to get on. Even the fabric of this strap is inferior.Luckily I also bought a different brand to try & it was way better, that different brand "FishYo Delux" snaps together with a simple plastic snap on each end, I recommend buy that one instead.
