I really like these needles. They're my first interchangeable needle set, and I love the quality of the needles, and am quite fond of the cords as well. The case is beautiful (and doesn't smell, which was a worry!), and the needles are a texture between bamboo and metal--woodsy but slick!I've been using them for about three months now, though, and I am noticing a few things:1. I don't really recommend this to English-style knitters. If you knit continental style, the needles won't untwist easily, but English-style knitters have quite a bit more trouble.2. These are the 4-inch set! I love shorter needles, but they're not for everyone. If you prefer longer needles, I suggest the blue-case set.3. You will likely need to order longer cables if you make garments, as I do.4. The join between the wood and the metal may be a bit fragile. They're pretty strong, but after 2-and-a-half pullovers, my 4.5mm needle is slowly coming out from its metal join. That might be a fluke, though--my other needles seem to be doing fine!5. My 4.5mm needle also... bent? Not at the wood, which I was actually expecting to happen some time, but hasn't happened yet, but at the metal piece, which was surprising. It's pretty easy to order a single replacement, though, so I'm not terribly worried.6. Please put some clear nail polish on the sizes before you use the needles! The paint will chip off, and the sizes may be a bit difficult to see, but clear nail polish does the trick :)Anyway, overall, highly recommend these needles! The array of sizes are perfect for when you unexpectedly get some yarn in a different weight than what you're used to (my 12mm's haven't been used yet but they're so cute :D). They're great to knit with, and they're beautiful as well.

I was shopping for a "chunky" set to add to my Knitters Pride Dreamz set but decided to splurge on this full GINGER set with the shorter needles. Because of my small hands, I always felt my 4.5 inch needles were a bit longer than I wished they were. Good decision! The half inch difference in size made ALL the difference for me. These are the perfect size in my hand and they feel amazing! Soft, smooth, warm, with a tip that's just right. Not too sharp, not too dull. This set only comes with short cords for small projects but I can connect any of my longer cords and use these for everything; not just hats. The case is lovely too and the pattern holder, matching pen, and stitch markers are very nice extras. Before I ordered these I had read that some had issues with the cord unscrewing so I was mindful of this when I attached my cord, making sure to fully tighten both ends perfectly with the pin but on my 3rd day of use, one end had worked it's way loose (unscrewed) and that's the reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Luckily I caught it just before it completely disconnected so I re-tightened it and my blanket was saved. I would have been pissed!In case anyone is researching the issue, I'm using the 9mm needles with a 60 inch Knitters Pride cord. My project is a large blanket so perhaps the weight of it could be a factor...?I haven't used this set long enough to report any other issues but I will update if anything negative should happen.Bottom Line: I still definitely recommend this set! Just check the connection from time to time.

I had been hesitant to buy a needle set for such a long time because of the price tag, so I was unfortunately buying needles as I went for over a year. Sometimes I’d be at the yarn shop, decide on a project and then not know whether or not I had the right needles at home. In the end, I wish I had just bitten the bullet earlier and gotten a set.I watch very pink knits on YouTube for a lot of knitting help, and though I don’t think she talks about this set specifically, I know she works with knitters pride a lot. I also wanted to get a knitters pride set because of something did need replacing in the future. Their items purchased individually are typically less expensive than other brands, but no less quality as I can tell.I am so happy with this set. I’ve had it only a couple weeks now but I’ve used 4 of the needle sizes already, and it seems an extremely solid set. The needles are smooth and sturdy. The case is pretty amazing. Very well built and non-bulky, especially considering how much is inside it!I bought this set along with an extra pack of cables so I could have some longer lengths than the set comes with, and they fit very well within the pocket of this case.I’m so very happy and feel so lucky to have such a nice set of knitting needles. Great value, good buy!

Absolutely LOVE these needles. I have several other brands of interchangeable needles made of different materials. I purchased these wood needles for traveling as I had taken a well known brand of bamboo needles on a recent flight only to have them split on me which left me with no needles to finish a sweater I had taken to knit on the long flight. I have used these needles on two sweaters, two shawls and a hat and have enjoyed them with no problems whatsoever. I think the problem people have with interchangeable needles are that they don’t get them tightened properly. If you do, you should not have any problems. These are just plain beautiful. Warm to the touch and stitches glide easily. Good for use with slippery (mohair,etc.) yarns.

I absolutely love this set, it was worth every penny. The needles are very nice quality, as are the cords. The cords are ready to use immediately (no boiling to unravel!) and are also really well made. It comes with pins to help tighten the cords to the needles and I haven't had any issues with them coming loose at all. The carrying case is also amazing, the storage pouch holds a decent amount, and the magnetic page holder is such a nice addition. Plus it comes with some cute stitch markers and a pen! Those needles are just what I was looking for! The needles are just perfectly "not too sharp not too blunt" and feel great in the hands. Because they are a little shorter, it takes a little adjustment in how you hold them, but I am really happy with them. the shortest cable is perfect for knitting hats; I don't even need to transfer the work on DPNs when decreasing the stitches, just a little pulling of the cable between the stitches is fine, kind of similar to magic loop technique. I was sick of trying to find the perfect yarn and projects for the needles I already owned, now, aside from smaller projects such as lace, socks etc, I have all I need. I just need to order connectors to be able to put more than one cable on the needles, and I'll even be able to do blankets and shawls! I should have invested in them before. Did I say that I love this set?

Knitters pride is the best name out there in needles. This entire real leather case is quality +++Sizes are terrific, and it’s nice to use the wooden needles so you have a bit more control over the stitches. My other knitters pride set is very slippery, and stitches slide way too easy. Shipped on time with no damage. Excellent set of sizes. Very smooth, no snags. Highly recommend as a first set, because of the range of sizes. You won’t regret this purchase. Highly highly recommend this seller!!Recommend this seller to everyone.

This is a beautiful circular knitting needle set. The wood is smooth and warm - I've had no issues with snagging or with the connections not fitting. If you're thinking of starting knitting or want to treat yourself, this is the kit you're looking for! I only wish I could have bought this set all those years ago when I started knitting, since I have basically wasted my money on all those metal needles that I will never use again, now that I have these beauties. Longer cables are readily available and relatively inexpensive. I have the Knitter's Pride interchangeable crochet hook set for Tunisian (afghan) crochet as well, and the components are all compatible with this kit.

Short tips for interchangeable circular needles are not easy to find. These wood tips are well crafted, the points are sharper than Addi circular needles. The definite advantage over Addi circular interchangeable set is this set has the smallest diameter tips in 3.25mm. The cables are shorter in accordance with the short tips. Screw points work well, no kink at the screw points of the cables. I personally don’t use the magnets to hold the pattern, but it is a nice thoughtful feature.The short tips are more specifically versatile for necklines which need a shorter cable, and no need to deal with a magic loop or use two circular needles. I am very happy to find this set.

These needles are buttery soft. I don't know how else to describe them. They feel great in my hands, and I really love working with them. This is my second Knitter's Pride set, and honestly, I prefer them over the other set I have. I've had them about three months or so and I haven't had any issues at with them. The set also comes with a nice matching pen which is refillable, and I love it, too. A+, Knitter's Pride.
