I've found a new hobby, I've had these for about a month now and have been exploring nearby reefs where I live. It took some getting used to as this was my first time using a Snorkel set. Initially I spent about an hour offshore getting used to the snorkel. I had a small learning curve with the snorkel set and panicked a few times when a wave may have washed over the top of the snorkel or I may have inadvertently held my head too low in the water causing the dry top seal to engage and cut the airflow unexpectedly. I have since gotten used to it and remain calm when it happens, I found that when it seals due to a wave splash or small bit of water a slight blow through the tube opens the valve and air can flow freely again.Diving is no problem, I've gotten used to it with the exception of pressure on my ears, as I said I am still a beginner at this and still learning.

I purchased these for an upcoming cruise to the eastern Carribean. I cruse often and usually take advantage of the sore excursions that include water activities - snorkeling especially. Though excursions provide equipment, I prefer having my own - trusting in hygiene under my control. I read the reviewed and thought this set would be just about right due to my minimal experience and only occasional opportunity to use them.My choice was spot on. The mask fit perfectly and kept unwanted water out. I did have to use a separately purchased fog control to keep the lense clear as I was in the water - but that's to be expected. I read a few comments about not fitting, or clips not holding the snorkle, but I had absolutely no problems with either. The fins were very easy to put on and adjust which is important if you are in a location where the fins must be added after getting into the water. Again, I'm not an expert, but I believe the fins were a little stiff. I expected more flow/movement while in the water and propelling.I would recommend these to any novice or anyone who snorkels for pleasure. Probably not the most expensive, but defiantly worth every cent I paid for them, given my use.

I bought this snorkeling set for our boat and snorkeling trips we take. The glasses are good but if you do not put on they will get foggy and get water in them. The glasses do get foggy after a long period of time in the water. The fins are good for basic snorkeling but they do bend a lot in a strong currents in the sea. The best part of this set was the tube. This tube is different from the others in that when you go down and gets water into, it does not get the water to your mouth. It has like a ball in the top portion and closed off like a vent so that when you go down in the water and come back up you do not have blow so hard to get all the water out. It never gets to your mouth.

We bought this to take on a cruise in lieu of renting equipment. Nicely made with a good carrying bag included. Definitely worth purchasing - just a few dollars more than renting and will have them for the next time!

This equipment was perfect for my needs snorkeling off the beach in the St. Maarten. The set is lightweight for travelling - I packed mine in a carry-on bag with another set and all the other beachwear. The set comes in a durable mesh bag. Fins were very good quality and floatable that fit my shoe size 13 very comfortably. There was plenty of room for a larger foot size, if necessary.The mask is tempered glass and silicone. The fit is very good and visibility is excellent - very comfortable and leaktight. (I kept my mask in a zip-lock bag to prevent sand from scratching the lens.) The mask does not have a purge, so it would not be good as a scuba mask which are much more expensive.The dry top snorkel is an excellent design with a very flexible bend connecting the mouthpiece to the upper tube portion. It purges any water easily that might enter the mouthpiece while not in use. No water entered during use, even when waves washed over the snorkel.It's a very good set for everyday snorkeling and a great value for the price.

I'd give it 3+ stars. I have a mustache so perfect seal with mask wasn't possible. Reasonable price for fins, mask, snorkle, and mesh bag. Mesh bag strap is thin and I think won't hold up too long. Also the bag is barely large enough for everything to fit. The fins adjust easily...that was a plus. Clip on the snorkle also attaches to mask easily...nice.

Took this on a snorkel trip. I scuba and like high quality gear. This was set held up great, very comfortable, and no difficulty in use. Highly recommend.

Not as described. Not fit for use in the ocean at all. Mask leaks too. Was do disappointed.Cheaply made.
