Good mouthguard
I'm a 5'8" guy. And some adult-sized mouth guards are just too big for my smaller-than-average mouth. I had read a review on another site about a person who had a similar problem They tried a youth-sized and it fit them. Since this mouth guard is pretty cheap, I figured I would give it a shot. It works perfectly for me. It completely covers my back molars. And there's not too much material to make me gag. When I open my mouth, it stays in place. Very happy with it.

Softer than most
My son liked this one. Said it was very comfortable seemed to fit his top teeth and molded well. Not as thick and strong as some. I could see it also being used as a night guard if needed due to that fact

Not suitable for reforming
Followed instructions but first attempt to fit was unsuccessful. Had difficulty reforming for second attempt and had to dispose of it.

Quick fitting for when you remember 12 seconds before practice.
Cut down easily, took a quick dip in hot water and set it while running to the car. I don’t know if you are supposed to have the luxury of time when you do these, as my kids always realize last minute that theirs is missing. I’m glad this is quick, easy, and molds well. I hope not to test any other attributes.

Nice but small fit on 8 year old
Seems like it would be fine if it fit better. My 8 yr old so said it felt too small and that his old one was a lot more comfortable. I may try to fit it again but we have already tried twice with similar outcomes.

Easy to mold and kid said it fits great.

Impossible to mold for smaller kids
The rating only applied to the child version. I ordered one adult and one child size. The adult size I managed to mold to fit my teeth sufficiently well, however we tried the process 4 times for my 7-year-old, but it was impossible to even get the material in his mouth to lodge his teeth in. For one it has to be cooled for a few seconds in order for it to not be boiling hot, but after you cool it as quickly as those 2 seconds it's already pretty hard for a small mouth to not be able to bite down on properly, not to mention getting the front teeth wrapped into the mold. After a while we gave up on that.
