Cinnamon-Orange African Red Bush Teabags (Rooibos)

A very interesting tea that is sweet and dense with flavor!

Wife said it tasted just like what she had in Africa. Loves it. Will be ordering more.

It is a pretty strong flavored tea. I like the Celestial Seasonings Red Safari Spice better but they dont seem to make it anymore. I was hoping this one would replace it but wont work for me.

This is the best tea ever, no sugar needed. Plus it’s good for you. Not sure how, but this tea is naturally sweet. New Favorite!!!

This is a ridiculously expensive tea, 66.5 cents per tea bag, which might be worth it if you love it. BUT they neither mention the ingredients nor show the side of the box that shows the ingredients. They are: "African red bush, orange peel, cloves, cinnamon-orange FLAVORING (natural and ARTIFICIAL flavors) [capitals added]" AND even those ingredients are misleading because the tea has been sweetened and that isn't mentioned. I used to be able to find a Rooibus (= red bush) tea with African spices ALL NATURAL that had the natural sweetness of cinnamon but no added sweeteners. It was simply wonderful and quite refreshing. And I've always loved Bigelow Constant Comment tea, both black and green, which has orange and cloves, also with the natural sweetness but no added sweeteners. Since red bush has even more phytochemicals than green tea and is naturally decaffeinated, I hoped this would be my go-to tea. Unfortunately, I disliked it so much, that after a couple of sips, I realized I couldn't stand it and threw the rest of the cup out. I'll give it away to a group. Hopefully there will be someone(s) who will like it.

I purchased this because a friend gave me some of this tea at Christmas and it was awesome. I was delighted to have found a wonderful cup of tea and excited that I found it on Amazon to purchase. Unfortunately, the tea Amazon sent was very weak and overpriced. I'm stuck with it because it is not returnable. It didn't even expire until 3 months from now so I'm not sure why it was so weak. I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed.

This tea is very cinnamon-y with a dose of orange. I prefer other roobios tea for every day use. For me, this tea is for special occasions. In fact, it's my favorite tea to use for Hot Toddies. After brewing, I mix in some Diplomatico Anejo dark rum for ooomph and Madhava light agave nectar for sweetness. Smooth warmth on a cold night.
