Good value for money backpack.
I chose this backpack as it looked robust. I was a bit shocked at first handling the product as it felt a good bit heavier than previous ones I have owned. But it is canvas and has very strong straps and buckles. It has two outside pockets, not big but handy for items you need without opening the whole bag. Two mesh pockets. A very useful pocket on top of the bag for odds and ends. Inside there is plenty of room including an extra pocket. At the bottom is a very good rain cover that works very well. Because of the chest and waist straps this backpack is very comfortable to carry even when pretty full. I have just got back from a walking holiday using this and I am well pleased. You could easily pay twice as much for this quality.

Excellent day bag
35L rucksack. Good, comfortable and padded waist strap and an adjustable chest strap (can slide it up and down to fit more comfortably). Good as a day bag for hiking, trekking etc. Includes a waterproof cover as well which came in useful.

Good value backpack with comfortable straps and two side pockets
This is quite long and a bit narrow. There's a large pocket on the inside, and two rather small zipped pockets on the outside that will take a phone or some keys. But that's about it for storage. You'll have to put pretty much everything in the main compartment. I like the way the top part that opens fits right around the top of the bag so there's no chance of things inside falling out or anyone being able to get their hands inside if they're not supposed to. In full trekking mode the straps are very comprehensive for around your waist and chest. You can fold them out of the way to some extent for more casual use. I think it looks pretty good as a backpack and the quality is good for the price.

Could be good
I had an old regatta 35 survivor bag and loved it. Unfortunately they have changed the design - not surprising after 19 years. This one seemed narrow and long. However, this may just be due to me being used to the old one. This one was also heavier as there was more padding on straps. I returned it and am still looking for an equivalent one to the old one

Very pleased with this
Excellent value for money. I've worn this for several walks. It's lightweight and very comfortable and the rain cover works great!
