I can use my phone with my toasty fingers!
Sewed this product into my index and thumb pads of my glove so that I can continue using my phone outside if needed without losing my fingers to frostbite. It can't just be sewed in any spot. It needs to be sewed so that the string will come in contact with your skin underneath as well for it to work. Its conductive after all! The product works!

Does what is says…
This was exactly what I needed for some much loved, expensive leather motorcycle gloves. They were supposed to be touch compatible, but they works so infrequently that they were a distraction. This thread SOLVED that! A few stitches in the index finger and thumb and they work perfectly. Easy to work with and super cheap for how many gloves you could do with one bobbin worth of thread. So happy I found it (thanks to a recommendation on a motorcycle forum)

For the most part worked!
I recently took a trip to Sweden and sewed this thread to the right index finger of my gloves. Being north of the arctic circle to see the Aurora Borealis in -27degrees, it was so much easier taking pictures without having to remove my glove! Awesome idea!

Really does add touchscreen ability
Needed to use my phone when riding my motorcycle without having to remove a glove (I'm not stupid so it's not for fiddling while moving). I got this - the 2 ply thread and sewed it on a fingertip, going underneath as well as on top as someone mentioned so that my actual fingertip is against it. But it's soft and smooth enough that I don't even feel the thread there. Result: it works! Every time, perfectly. If you sew horizontally across the glove tip, sew a few diagonals so the threads don't bunch up in spots & leave a gap that won't work.

Did not work to create touchscreen compatible fabric.
The thread itself is fine, but it did not work to create a touchscreen compatible fabric as advertised. I even did large stitches and lots of interior stitches as mentioned by other reviews and it still did not work.

Great value
Works as expected.

Hard to sew longer stitches.
Experienced sewing. I thought was difficult to get to stay tight. Fine for small stitch but for chain stitch to connect LED leads was difficult.

A way to convert your moto gloves to touch screen usable
Sewing this special conductive thread into your gloves's finger tip will help, but it’s not perfect. All depends on how tightly packed in your fingertip is in order to make contact. Note to self: buy gloves with conductive fingertips.

Vroom vroom.

Yes, 100% stainless steel thread, just as it says
And it's very easy to stitch it into my cotton grounding sheet which had lost it's power.
