ELYON MARSHMALLOW WHITE, 7 OZ

We wanted to enjoy real marshmallows made of sugar instead of corn syrup. Unfortunately, all of the marshmallows were stuck when the bag was opened.

I used to love these marshmallows because they were one of very few that did not use CORN based ingredients like corn syrup or cornstarch and they use kosher fish gelatin.Now unfortunately they contain Cornstarch and Corn syrup and the texture and taste of the marshmallows have also changed.Before it had a unique taste and texture that made them more gourmet, but now because the formula has changed it just tastes like all those other cheaper Cornstarch Corn Syrup marshmallows you can get from any supermarket.I am guessing there was a change in ownership and the new company has opted for cheaper ingredients. It is unfortunate.I wish they would go back to the original formula since there are enough GMO Corn based marshmallows out there.

Not great texture, they stink like the fish gelatin that they contain, and the flavor is so-so. Also leave a nasty after taste. Won't be purchasing again.

Another reviewer mentioned that Elyon changed their ingredients....Actually, the corn-free marshmallows are seasonal and are sold near Passover. They use tapioca starch instead of corn starch. My son has a corn allergy and he loves them! They work very well for roasting over a fire, making s'mores, making rice krispie treats and just eating plain. I like them just as much as big name marshmallows. This year, we will stock up and set aside several bags in the freezer. They keep well in the fridge or freezer! I wish the cornstarch-free version was available year round!

A more gourmet taste....but the ones I got did not have any corn ingredients OR egg whites as mentioned in the product description (both of those ingredients would make these off limits for our family). Also, my bag of mini marshmallows is pink/yellow/green....not like the picture when I clicked on this item.

After reading the scary list of ingredients in Kraft Foods franken marshmallows, I found these to be a much safer alternative. If my girls are going to have s'mores - they can have them without the cancer causing ingredients!

I love these and so does my unbelievably picky 4 year old. These melt fantastically and are also good straight out of the package. My son likes to leave a few out for a couple days until they harden. I like that they dont have the dye that the kraft brand does. You cant really make a healthy marshmallow but at least these have "ok" ingredients.
