Bought this book because I am a geo-nerd. Gives a great background and history on how land in Hawaii came to be divided, surveyed and cataloged as it is today. It's especially fun to look up something when I visit somewhere new with my kids so we can learn a little more about it.Otherwise it is a great coffee table book, large in size, nice photos (albeit most are hand drawn maps or black and white due to the time in which it was written).Great book though. Glad I bought it.
