Easy and Fun
I am using this for my beginner student who has had about 10 lessons. It is just the right amount of challenge without being frustrating. Most of the songs use the same finger position (both thumbs on middle C) so she can easily learn her notes. The last four songs use another position, with both hands on C to G.

Fun for your student!
If you have a student that has been using Piano Adventures this is part of this excellent series. My student has started with all the beginning levels and now is on Level 1 - this is a great supplemental to this stage of progression.

Good Series
I bought this for summer time practice for my eight year old. It has seventeen fun songs. The music is slightly less challenging than the regular lesson books which makes it ideal for self-study. She'll Be Coming Around the Mountain, Oh! Susanna, Home on the Range, Are You Sleeping, Good Night Ladies, This Old Man are some of the more popular songs.

Easy & Fun
My 11 year old loves these little books because they are simple and fun, tunes she already knows and therefore makes it easier to learn and more fun to play. We have ordered several of these and will order more.

Good piano book.
This book was recommended by my son's, who is 6 years old, piano teacher. Good and easy to follow. There are not many songs in each book so that my son feels achievement for each book. He also has other books, chrismas, classical, etc.

More Difficult New Edition
There is now a new edition of the book that is significantly more difficult than the previous edition. It’s not noted anywhere on the Amazon listing, and the songs are the same so it’s misleading. But nearly every piece has been changed to be substantially harder, nearly a level more difficult.
