It does come with batteries, it may work for you. Was was trying to program 2019 TPS sensors to a 2012 F150. It didn’t for me. For the price I would say it’s worth a try.

I believe it’s a Ford specific tool. If your sensors are older than 5-6 years, I’d recommend replacing them. As far as the tool, it worked on my 08 Expedition. I purchased new tires and sensors from Costco and kept getting fault codes after installation. After several trips back and forth to Costco, they basically gave up saying the tires and sensors were fine and said it was a problem with the ECM in the truck. I got he tool and had the problem resolved in 5 minutes in my own garage.
