Why would it be sheer? Thick, I get. A thick consistency will make it stay in place, and it does that very well. It is also the best acne spot treatment I have ever found for catching a pimple just before it raises its ugly head. (This will also help a pimple that you have foolishly picked at, but come on, don't do that. It will still take several days to heal.) If you can catch it in time you can either prevent it from forming a head by sucking the oil out of it with this sulfur paste, or bring it to a head a little bit faster if it is a little bit bigger of a problem, like one of those cystic little b*st*rds.

This works better for acne than strong prescription drugs. Using this enabled to get off pricy prescriptions that have serious side effects. It usually gets rid of a zit within a day or two. It's a miracle! It doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin. One small bottle lasts a while. It's expensive, but it's worth it as it really works better than any other product I've tried (and I've tried quite a few).

I have used nearly every product on the market and I feel this works the best for me. I use it as a treatment AND a preventative. As a treatment it works better than most but doesn’t zap anything away like we want. As a preventative it works wonders. I apply it to the places I tend to break out at once a day, every day and it has decreased my breakouts by 90%. I depend on this now!

I will say that this is an effective product when it comes to cystic acne that is JUST starting. I feel like it really stopped some of my larger cysts from getting any bigger, but I wouldn't say it is as effective on already established cystic acne. I feel like all it did for some of the pimples that were already there was just dry them out, but it didn't shrink them or anything. I'm just not really sure if the price is really worth it when there are so many other (cheaper) options for acne spot treatments out there. It does sting a little when you first put it on, but eventually the sting goes away.

This stuff really works! It shrank my zits faster than other products, usually in one to two days depending on how big the pimple is. Also, it doesn’t dry out my skin, which a lot of other pimple creams do for me. If you are acne prone BUY THIS!!

It works overnight, I used this product after a good facial cleanse and in the morning the spot of concern was barely visible.

i have rosacea/acne, and sulfur is great at treating the papules that come along with it. However, this has done nothing for my rosacea or acne. Also, the tube was maybe 1/3 full when I received it. For $18, I expect a full tube. I've ended up using Neutrogena stubborn acne cream with benzoyl peroxide 2.5% and it works much better. I was really disappointed in this acne treatment. I like PTR products, but not this one. I would not repurchase. I love the PTR sulfur mask for my acne, so I will be sticking to it from now on.
