Skinfinity Lotion Applicator Wand Set w/ Loofah, Sponge & Pumice Stone

The multitude of different heads is a great feature. It feels solid even with the folding handle--a great feature if you take it to the beach and have to apply sunscreen on your own back. It works as described, though the actual lotion applicator portion looks like it will not hold up well to repeated pad changes. Otherwise, all the other heads have worked as designed.

This is a wonderful product. As someone who has a special skin condition that requires lotion everyday, this is very helpful when my husband is not around. There is one flaw however & if the designer ever reads this & takes action I would pay double for this product. The prongs that fit into the heads are weak. If any force is applied, over time, they will break. When I say "time" I'm talking about a couple of months use. Other than this weakness, it is a great product. I wish I could buy just the wand when the prongs break.

The product looks attractive. The various pieces attach to the handle with a very poorly made clipping action. After a few uses, the clips that hold these attachments on, break, and there is no way to keep the various attachments secure. So, while you are attempting even very lightly, to use it, the attachemnts fall off. The whole idea of this product is to give you reachability with the different attachments..So it's pointless. On top of that, the one attachment that has pads to put lotion under, and secure it to the particular attachment, never stays put for more that a few strokes, The pad comes loose, and any lotion underneath is wasted. That part as well, is a terrible design. I waited a while to use this product, so my Amazon return time frame expired. When I communicated with the MFG., there was zero response. NO point in getting another one. The separate parts/ attachments may be somewhat usefull, being hand held without the handle, so it won't be a complete waste. However, for the price, since the intended purpose was reach, was completely a waste of money. Better to just buy a long handled brush or loofah, or pad, with no parts that can break,.

The concept of this is pretty good. I found it somewhat difficult to use. After 2 uses, a piece of the applicator wand broke off. I hadn't even done anything - I didn't take it off or put it on to the applicator It was already connected. I just found the broken piece on the floor. This is one of the two pieces that you squeeze to take the applicator off of the wand and to lock it back in place on the wand. Right now the applicator is holding to the wand, but I'm not sure what will happen when I take it off and try to put it back on.

I like the Product, I use it for bathing. The major problem with the product is that the hinged areas break real easily. This ares where it is hinged and where you can exchange the end need to be redesigned to be sturdier. Current design is to flimsy and results is buying replacement wands.

The snap-on joint at the head of the handle has too much stress on it. I have had two that both broke at the same place. But the length and curve of the handle is great. When you buy one find a way to support the top joint. (I may have been a little rough on it. You know what its like when you have an itch :)

I purchased three back applicators. The Aquasentials Easy Lotion, the Kingsley Lotion applicator, and the Skinfinity lotion applicator wand set. The aquasentials and Kinglesy were almost identical. Both on looks and use. Essentially worthless. They use hard nonabsorbing foam and basically just smear the lotion in gobs around your back. The Skinfinity has these little soft foam pads which actually aborb a bit of the lotion but do a great job in evenly spreading the lotion around. The wand on the skinfinity is also significantly longer allowing for you to get further down you back. Yes it's three to four times the price but you get a lot more. I also like the little sponge attachment for washing, as I use a special soap in the shower for my dermatitis and this helps me get it on my back. Clearly worth the price difference.

This is the 3rd one I've bought and the handle broke on all of them. Now I have all the extra things to use and no handle. I have tried contacted the Skinfinity Company by phone (1-888-662-5683) and e-mail (www.skinfinityproducts.com). The phone always rings busy and the internet doesn't allow me to order just the handle. The product is wonderful except that the handle does not hold up. Can you get me just a handle replacement?
