Great Case - Good Value
This case is very nice and sturdy for the money. It holds my 9mm and couple clips well but it's nice and small so it fits in my range bag nice.

Exactly as described.
I bought this case for flying with a handgun. My wife was on a trip to/from the NorthEast and needed to fly with her CCW. This case locked up securely and was perfect for the application. It is not a gun safe so it is possible to get into it fairly easily, but you would have to destroy the case. A baggage handler or whomever else would have to cause a scene getting into it at the airport. That said, it is fairly small and is easily dropped in a bag or backpack, so you will want to secure the case to your luggage somehow. I used a bike lock cable. Again easy to defeat with bolt cutters but would be obvious that something was going on. You will not pry it open enough to get a gun out without being obvious. Exactly what I was after. I customized the inside of this one to fit her Kahr CM9, and will be buying one for my carry gun. It should fit any gun up to a full size Glock (20 or 21), but most likely wont fit long barreled revolvers. I highly recommend this case.

Great for Secure Transport
Fits my needs perfectly. The weapon I bought came in a cardboard box, which does not lend itself to transporting the thing securely (as certain States require). Quality is excellent. Tabs lock securely and the material is rigid but lightweight. Spacious enough to carry my pistol and a mag or two. The design of the foam holds the contents securely, so I don't have to worry about the pistol sliding and banging against the bottom when I pick the case up. Holes in the locking tabs are 7 mm in diameter and 17 mm deep at the cut out parts, so take that into consideration when buying a lock for it if you wish to forego the cable lock (should be minimum of about 4 cm long on one side of the shackle to allow you room to close it). For example, a Master Lock 1534D won't fit because the shackle is too thick. This pistol case does the trick and at an appealing price. Great value!

Solid case, Nice latch system
I have received two emails from Premium Practical Supply requesting feedback on my purchase of the pistol case. So, without further adieu......I live in perhaps the most restrictive jurisdiction in America as it pertains to firearms. I recently obtained a rifle/shotgun permit and handgun (limited premises) license from NYPD and I most certainly intend to abide by all laws to the letter. As far as the pistol is concerned, other than when registering the weapon at Police Plaza, it may only be transported directly to-and-from a licensed pistol range within city-limits. No stops. Not within 500 feet of a school. Etc. The gun must be unloaded, locked, and transported in a locked, non-transparent container. Ammunition must also be secured and placed in a separate container. Since it is illegal to purchase ammo on the Internet for delivery to NYC (even if sent to a FFL) the last issue will not likely pertain to me. New Yokers are limited to a total of 200 rounds irregardless of caliber!Given the nature of New York City gun laws, I want to be as inconspicuous as possible. I transport my rifle in a guitar case and I intend to place the pistol case into a backpack. For those who intend to transport this case in the open with some degree of discretion, there are a few things you need to be aware of. There are absolutely no markings whatsoever on the case, least of which identifying it as a firearms transport. It is entirely made of hard plastic in black. By size, it could pass as a lunchbox, but the locking mechanism, especially if indeed it is locked, will give it away to an astute observer. It could, however, be mistaken for a tool case. If this is of concern to you, perhaps purchase some decals from a tool company. In my opinion, I would assume that there was SOMETHING special in that case even if there were no locks on it.As my Heckler & Koch VP9 has not yet arrived at my local FFL, I cannot definitively address how well the gun fits this case. What I can say is the case appears to be reasonably well made despite aforementioned full plastic jacket----get it?---full metal jacket, full plast....guan fehgettabotit. It is lightweight but solid. I like the sliding latch system. It seems more secure and far more functional than the typical latch systems used. I was, however, disappointed to find that the shackles of several TSA-certified locks I already owned were too short to fit the case. I ordered one of the cable locks suggested by Amazon.com which should do the trick and may, in fact, prove more useful as the cable will secure both holes, decreasing the opportunity to pry open the case. Full-size, foam bubble padding covers both top and bottom of the case. When removed, a thinner layer of foam is exposed rather than the underside of the plastic casing.I placed a Master combination trigger-lock with protruding barrel into the case and closed the lid with no difficulty. I assume the height clearance with the HK locked will be similar. When I looked moments ago, the foam did indeed accommodated the lock, implying it will do the same with a gun. It is a non-issue for me though, due to New York City mandates, but I'll have to wait and see if the case can hold much more than the gun itself. My Heckler & Koch should arrive in about two days. I will update with additional information.

Perfect for flying with your CCW firearm in your luggage - very happy
I recently flew with my handgun for the first time and a buddy told me just to use my Glock case. It worked fine, but I grew a little concerned the night before my flight left. I could not find a lock that worked great - ended up having to use a longer lock around the handle because there are no holes to thread the lock through on a standard Glock case. It was secure, but anyone could have popped the clips and opened the case enough to get the gun out - not reassuring. It all worked out fine, but I immediately looked for a better option when I got home.I did not want to spend a lot on a metal case, or a case that takes up too much room. This case is perfect and cured all of my concerns - and it is smaller than a standard Glock case. When the padlock is in place, the holes are situated so someone cannot slide the locks open, so there is no way to open the case even a little bit - someone would have to smash it or saw through the case. It seems well built and sturdy. For the price and what I got - I am extremely happy that I did not spend more on a "fancier" case - it would have been pointless. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Great Little Case
Great little case. Love the foam in it. It will serve many purposes. Can lock kids phones in when I need to ground them. My son can take to camp with him to lock away his money and phone while at camp to keep it safe. The only down side is it was really hard to find a combination lock to fit it. I didn't want a key lock. So after 3 different styles of locks purchased, my husband actually had to modify the case with his Dremel tool. He drilled the holes out a little so the combination locks would fit. The case is good to keep small things out of easy grab. My small 380 fits perfect. My husband's ruger 1911 fits perfect. Over all it is a good purchase. The case is sturdy and seems to be made of good quality. I'm thinking about getting a couple of more for the price and to support an American made product.
