The seat is incredibly comfortable for my child, with soft padding and secure straps that keep her safely in place. The installation was quick and straightforward, and it attaches easily to my bike without any hassle. What I love most is the suspension system, which provides a smooth ride even on bumpy roads. My daughter enjoys the ride, and I feel confident knowing sheโs safe and comfortable. Itโs also easy to adjust as she grows, which is a huge plus. Overall, I highly recommend the Thule Yepp Mini for parents who want to share their love for cycling with their kids. Itโs well-built, secure, and super convenient for family biking adventures! Review: We use this daily, and we LOVE it! - I live in a very bicycle friendly town, so I thought it was about time I get my one-year-old out on the road. I read a ton of reviews on desertcart and biking-with-kid sites, and I decided on this one based on all the stellar reviews. I'm using the Yepp on a men's Electra Cruiser that I picked up cheap secondhand, no adapter needed. It installed quickly and easily, and I can very comfortably ride the bike. My husband is about 6', and he has to turn his knees out a touch to avoid the Yepp, but at 5'8", I don't at all. My son LOVES this seat. He is constantly asking to go out on a ride. I read some complaints about the straps being difficult to adjust, but I personally haven't had any issues with it. I've had to loosen/tighten when he's wearing more or fewer layers, and it's easy. My son was 30" at last check, and his feet fit great with the foot pads one notch down from the smallest setting. His helmet doesn't hit the back of the seat in any sort of irritating way. I love being able to talk to him easily and see what he's pointing at. I was worried having the weight on the front would make the bike feel a little extra wobbly, but it's as if there's no difference. We've gotten a lot of compliments on it, and we are super happy with our choice. The orange color is nice and bright, and any extra visibility doesn't hurt. My son likes to hold onto his little handlebars, but he occasionally likes to feel the squishy rubber on mine.

Awesome seat
This seat is just what I was looking for. Easy to put together. Feels very secure and high quality. The best part of the seat is the ability to take it on and off easily unlike other permanent seats. There is a key lock on the bottom that unlocks the seat with a button to easily pop it off. My daughter is 13 months and about 25 pounds and you can barely feel a difference in riding the bike. Highly recommend.

Don't waste your money. It's garbage.
Let me save you the time, money, and frustration. Don't buy this! Bought it to take my son on bike rides. 1st problem: bolts are too short for mountain bikes. 2nd problem: if you buy longer bolts (which I did) the foot rests are too long and won't fit because they hit the front shocks. 3rd problem: if you mount it on a road bike, you'll be too hunched over to ride it. 4th problem: the bolts will scratch up your bikes, regardless of the size of the stem. Steer clear of this awful product. ๐ Waste of time and money. Going to try and get my money back.

Worth the splurge
The Thule Yepp Mini is 100% worth the splurge. There are cheaper options for baby bike seats but this one is worth the extra money in the long run. The foam seat absorbs shock and my baby/now toddler does not complain about bumps in the road unlike when she rode in other brands we tried before the Thule. She loves holding the little handlebar and I love that sheโs situated in front of me for security. The harness is secure, but you have to make sure to adequately tighten each strap or they can slip off babyโs shoulders. Installation is easy peasy, and the convenient key locks the bike seat in place and releases the seat from the handlebars in case you wanted to ride the bike without the Yepp Mini attached. It is a smaller seat with wider footrests than other brands weโve tried, which enables a larger/wider turn radius. It is sleek and easy to clean as well! Lots of adjustments can be made to accolades tall kiddos! I wish the weight limit was bigger since my daughter is nearing the end of her time with the Thule Yepp Mini, but we love it!

Babywearing on wheels.
Great seat, my 14 months son seems to like it. The shoulder straps keep falling down to his elbows, I find them too slippery, not enough grip. He's also good at taking his feet out of the foot rests but this is no biggie at this time as his legs aren't anywhere near the danger zone - yet. He likes to rest his feet on the handle bar instead. Bought this to put on my Trek Neko or my husband's Trek DS 8.3 (pictured side by side with the Schwinn), but the adapter won't fit either of them. I really wanted this set up to work on our 'good bikes', but after seeing how the seat sits on the bike, I reckon it would be just too uncomfortable and too awkward for both the rider and the passenger as there would be very little space, unless you are very tall or the baby is very small. Like some reviewers, we too bought a new bike, just a cheapy Walmart Schwinn Admiral, just so we can use this seat. I love it, this setup works really well together. No leg clearance issue for me, though I did headbutt my son's helmet while ducking for low branches. I haven't ridden a bike since falling pregnant 2 years ago, and to be able to go ride again, feel the breeze, the freedom, and to share the experience with my son who's sitting right between my arms in front of me, it's just precious.

There is not a cooler bike seat out there
This bike seat is a miracle of engineering. It fit my wife's bike perfectly and is really easy to install. Every time we go out and ride in our neighborhood or on a trail, we get constant compliments. We've almost caused a few car accidents because people driving by just stare and forget to watch the road. The seat looks good, seems comfortable, and is very sturdy. There is absolutely no wobble when you ride, and the 5-point harness keeps our son positioned well. The first time we rode in this seat our son fell asleep and slumped onto the handle in front - which turned out to be a nice head rest! Great seat!!
