Artist's Photo Reference: Buildings & Barns (Artist's Photo Reference Series)

It's a great resource of various types of barns. Plus you are sure they are open source so there is not problem with possible copy right issues. The best part for me is I can take various pieces of the pictures and create my own composition. Having them right in front of me in book format is easier, in my opinion, to sketch than the pictures being on a screen. Much easier to reformat too.

I can take my own photos of flowers, trees, houses, etc but it is not often I get photos of barns and unique buildings. This is a beautiful book. Great reference for artists or just a table top reference.

You know those times when you need inspiration? Or a clearer idea on how to paint a building? I sure do! So happy for this book! I will be referring to it for many many projects! And my seller did a wonderful job of getting it to me. So happy with the seller “Half Price Books.” Why waste paper on making new when used will perfectly do?

This book is so helpful in that it goes into good details to help you achieve the type of skills to paint and draw.

The photos were useless for what I wanted, material for my paintings.

A good variety of buildings in this but most of the photos are quite small to see very much detail.
