Yes it will, however, you must refrain from wearing tight hairstyles such as tight braids and sew-ins in that area. I have worn braids for many, many, many years and have suffered weak edges around my hairline as a result of this. So, as a braid wearer, I'm advising AGAINST anything tight or chemical around the hairline if your hair is already damaged. Avoid these things as they will only worsen the problem. This product is great. It will thicken and regrow your hair. Now it's not an overnight solution, as with anything it requires patience. I've been using it for 8 month I think and I've notice a huge difference in my hair in general and especially temporal areas. Give it time and it will heal your scalp. Remember... Everybody isn't the same with products. You make notice results quicker. Good luck and God bless!
