Yes - Yes - Yes...!!!!
Buy this product immediately! Seriously yo....I have been looking for just the right Mic case that is strong, durable, sturdy, can take a beating when on the road, etc - and can hold the dozen Mics we use for gigs - PLUS, all the Mic cables and some adapters and extra Mic clips, etc - but won't break the freakin bank!! You know....?Anyway, this was a tremendous deal, and provided everything I have been dreaming about for most of my adult life! :^DAnd it's not some huge, over-sized, bulky, heavy af case. :^oWell - I am so thrilled with this purchase. Def worth 5+ stars. The case Rocks! Period. 'nuff said

So what is important to you in evaluating a purchase ?
I purchased an SKB microphone case used and thought to myself, what will be important about this case ? Will it hold up carrying several mics safely despite being bounced around in the back of a truck moving from gig to gig ? Will it be reliable in keeping its cargo safe ? The answer was yes, it did everything I asked of it. Furthermore, the vendor shipped it quickly and it arrived within a very short period. I now look for SKB cases for my guitars or any other needs. I recommend not only this product but this vendor as well.

Not so ideal for the travelling sound engineer.
As a live production engineer I was looking for something to supplement my Pelican 1510, something to protect the more pricey mics and DIs. In short, I'm returning the case.IT FITS: SM- or Beta57/58, e609, Ev 408a, Audix D series, and other smaller mics. RE320 in original case in the "storage" section.DOES NOT FIT: Beta87A, Telefunken handhelds, and larger/longer wired handhelds. While sifting through mic bags isn't something I think of as fun during a tight load in, the ability to store twice as many mics and about as safely in my 1510 (with the optional convenience of wheels!) means I will sooner buy another Pelican. In sum, if you're storing a bunch of smaller mics, especially in-house, maybe this would be good for you. Not so ideal for the travelling sound engineer.

Large, feels solid.
Bigger than I expected, which is a good thing. The mic inserts have removable pieces allowing for larger mics - think Audix D6. Really setup for standard mics; SM58 or so...pencil-type condensers are loose side-to-side, but top-bottom can be tight. Stick a foam head on it and it'll be fine. Not sure this would work too well for a E609 type, but then again there's this large section on the other side that could be filled with cubed-foam and done to order.

Great product!
SKB cases are the best in the business IMHO. But they are also the most expensive! For private owners there is a lifetime warranty on the product which makes the expense worth it. If you're purchasing for rental purposes or for a school, university, etc. beware! The lifetime warranty is ONLY good for single-use private owners! This case is of superior quality and works well I just wish my bass drum mic fit one of the slots.

Great layout. Only wish I could adjust the depth ...
Typical SKB high quality. Great layout. Only wish I could adjust the depth of some of the slots as a few of my microphones are a bit taller, but they still fit, and I don't think that there is too much pressure placed on them by the foam. The side compartment is great for some cables, adaptors and gaffers tape, or for odd shaped microphones (though those must be carefully packed with their own protection as they can bump around in that larger compartment. It is large enough to carry enough microphones for several vocalists, cab mics and drum mics. Highly recommend.

Best $100 I've spent in a long time
Best $100 I've spent in a long time. My microphones have been carried loose in bags for a long time and the cables were all over the place. This cleaned all of that up beautify and gave my tremendous protection and convenience to boot. My band mates were immediately considered getting this same model for themselves. Microphones are expensive and somewhat fragile. This protects your investment for a nominal cost.
