Exquisitely Beautiful Artwork
This is a gorgeous tarot deck. Every illustration is beautifully drawn and rich with symbolism and meaning. The artistry and the writing are carefully and thoughtfully executed; a tarot masterpiece. It follows the standard 4 suit Minor Arcana (cups, wands, pentacles, and swords) with the standard 22 Major Arcana (The Fool through The World), but the author's interpretations of the numerology and symbology is a refreshing variation from the typical Rider-Waite-Smith interpretations - congruent with modern practice, but with intriguing twists. The accompanying manual is a 5-1/4 x 8 inches (13 x 20 cm), 274 page book. each card has a full-page color illustration with a storyline and interpretation for upright and reversed meanings. The card thickness is typical for decks published by Llewellyn - much like playing cards they are easy to riffle but strong enough not to warp with every shuffle. The printing is very good quality. All in all a very enjoyable deck to use. To all my fellow sailors, divers, and mermaids - this deck is definitely for you.

Beautifully Stunning
Just stunning. Comes in a gorgeous sturdy box for storage, no bag included. The cards are pieces of art. I’m going to get a second set to frame for wall art.The artful cards contain all the information you need to read your spread. There is a very nice book that comes w/ it as well. It’s a very sturdy paperback that gives full depth details about each card, suit, and arcana. The book, @ 5x7 includes lovely pictures of each card with a summary of information about each card. Easy to follow, learned even more about each meaning behind placement and objects within the cards to expand my reading ability. Perfect for the cancer or other water/sea sign in your life.A great gift, too!

Fantastic deck, intuitive and thoughtful art, honest review!
I love this deck. 10/10 stars. I have been on the hunt for a mermaid related tarot and there aren't a lot out there. That alone makes this deck worth it, then it is also beginner friendly, and then the art is beautiful, the book is very descriptive and helpful, it does not disappoint. Its not a pamphlet or a deck sized, cheap paper book. It comes with a gorgeous, very solid, high quality book, every page is vibrant and feels nice. Its not a pamphlet or a deck sized, cheap paper book. I also appreciate the tone of the deck, if that makes sense. Overall it is a positive, caring deck. I appreciate that. The only thing I could think you might want to consider is that the paper for the cards themselves is a little thin, its not bad quality, they are more bendy than some decks you may be used to, that maybe are a thicker card stock. I personally see no issues with that, its easier to shuffle. Some people may though have a preference or claim its flimsy. Love it, still, 10/10 stars.Thank you to the author and illustrator for creating this!

Best Mermaid deck on the market.
I have been waiting for a mermaid deck that would be up to my standards, and this deck it the one! The challenge with a deck like this one is to make it dynamic enough to be a Tarot deck. This one accomplishes that with grace and ingenuity. For example, the deck contains all four elements brilliantly portrayed within the environment of water in a very believable way for a fantasy deck. Indeed, volcanoes do erupt under the sea and the element of fire is not at all out of place. The depiction of gods and goddesses within the cards lends depth and interest that I can appreciate. The diversity of the representation of the mer-people is something I feel give it a universal appeal and helps the Tarot be what it was meant to be: a mirror for us to see ourselves in. Having the fairies show up in the suit of pentacles sent me over the moon about this deck. While it adheres to the RWS system, it does add a layer of a new perspective in many of the cards that I adore. The guide book is by far the most beautiful that I own, with a full page in color representation of each card. The card stock is just perfect with a glossy finish that's not too thick to shuffle. I've come to expect a lot from a Llewellyn deck, and this one is no exception for the quality. The only issue I had is that one of the cards was missing in my first deck, so please go over your deck closely when you first open them to make sure you don't have the same issue as it seems to be a common thread among those who have purchased it. Not something I expected from such an experienced publisher. I'm wondering why there was not more hype about this deck before it's release? I hope that it gets the recognition it deserves as this deck is worthy of any Tarot reader, experienced, novice, or collector. This is truly the best one of it's kind out there. A big thank you to Leeza Robertson and Julie Dillon for bringing it forth.
