I love this drink, full-bodied and light. The taste is versatile and can be used in a lot of recipes and consumed neat. Pretty bottle therefore it can be given as a gift.

Creamy sweet deliciousness
Delicious creamy sweet liqueur, great over crushed ice. Invokes memories of being in the bushveld in South Africa. Also great to add a dash to coffee to make a special 'bush-coffee'.

Mi è stata consigliata da una amica sudafricana e devo ammettere di essere rimasto molto colpito dalla qualità del prodotto. Ricorda moltissimo gusto e consistenza del Bayles, ma a differenza di quest'ultimo l'Amarula è un fermentato/distillato senza alcun aroma o alcool aggiunto, il gusto, molto gradevole, di vaniglia, cacao e caramello è quindi interamente ottenuto dalla lavorazione della pianta (in molte altre creme di liquore, come il Bayles, il sapore è dato dall'aggiunta di aromi). Peccato che il prezzo sia molto più alto che in africa, ma si tratta di un liquore che richiede una lunga lavorazione e che deve essere importato.
