To My Son with Love: A Mother's Memory Book

Evidently they don’t make these books anymore, so I was happy to find one. My mom filled out one of these for me years ago (it was a mother to daughter one by the same author) and I cherish that book, even more so now that she has passed away. I wanted to do something similar for my son for when he is grown and knew I wanted it to be this one by the same author. I still feel like it have a piece of my mom and her stories written down in her handwriting and I am thankful to have it.

It is difficult to find memory books for sons. I was pleased to find one here and it was in the condition as described. I was surprised that the format had changed from To my Daughter with Love. The daughter book asked me to list favourites. I expected the same here- favourite football team, hockey, etc. as well as favourite foods or favourites of his grandfathers. There is some listings here but I found them difficult to list: most inspirational figure or teacher in my son's life might not be the person I thought it was. Above all the book is a good method to organize my thoughts for my son to read at a much later date privately.

Beautiful Book to use to write Son’s life story. A friend’s Mother had made them for her sons. They cherished them especially after she suddenly passed away. I Love The Art of Donna Green. All of her Books are Treasures.

Had one of the To My Daughter, With Love and had thought I would never find anything for my Son and just happened to type it into Amazon search and up it popped after having looked for all these years and not thinking it was out there! It is just as great as the daughter one and I will be working on finishing up these for gifts for them this year! If you can get one, I would say do it now.

A few years ago, in a small, out-of-the-way bookstore I'd wandered into, I came across a similar version only geared to My Daughter. I NEVER expected to find a similar one for My Son -- I found this by accident - (was actually looking for a book my daughter wanted) - and ordered it immediately! Now I can complete one for each of them!

I purchased this book as a gift to my Step daughter on the upcoming birth of her first child, a son. With the passing of her father, and myself being the mother of sons (5) I felt this to be quite exceptional and would carry on the stories through laughter and love.
