EMT used these to treat shock. Cut a hole tape it you have an rain poncho , a bit more tape you can make a dress to protect a woman’s modesty. I used duct tape to compress this to the smallest size possible so it could go in my bag. I taped only to the outside bag during compression of the blanket keeping the blanket clean of tape.
