Not completely bad for a cheaper bag
It's a good thick material. Zippers are where the cheap quality come into play but I know this n so it will keep me from overstuffing it. Has lots of room so I definately believe the 60L claim. Not only is the material thick it still has a (thin) liner inside. The straps have a decent cushion but not as good as the Teton sport. And unlike the Teton sport that does have a waist strap this one does to...kinda...not as cushioned as the Teton. I'm 5'3" so the Teton bottom strap sits on my hips which I actually like n this one sits on my high waist. I think for a day pack or a college bag to load all those books it would be fine but not for any longer. I bought for $28 but it's now listed for $18 which I think is a steal if u want it for something like that. But for hiking I would go with the Teton sport n spend the extra money. Oh n I tested the waterproof quality on my bag n it isn't lol.

Highly recommend...built well for the money
For $17 this hiking backpack is built pretty well. This is my first official hiking backpack, where normally i would use my regular one that looks like its from school. This is built pretty well and has a layer inside to keep things dry and a few pockets to add stuff very easy. I like this where im able to put my one person tent, a cooking kit, 4 LED lanterns and i still havent finished packing it. I would highly recommend this backpack. It has big zippers as well that seems pretty tough...tough as in good to take a beating.

Yes, its made of thick materials, but straps ...
Yes, its made of thick materials, but straps already started breaking off after 3 days of use. I only carry about 20 pounds on a daily basis. Zippers get stuck all the time, and quality control isnt a thing that this company believes in. For $17, im not upset. I know its not for me though. I will be purchasing something a little more expensive in order to have it work properly.

This backpack is very poor quality using poor materials
This is definitly one of those 'you get what you pay for' items. I ordered it for a 5mth backpacking trip and the main strap broke and the the top drawstring closer came out the day before my trip so I had take my carryon suitcase. This backpack is very poor quality using poor materials. Save yourself the hassle and spend the extra $ on a quality backpack - they'll run you at least $100-$200. VERY IRRITATED!!

The quality is not bad at all for the price
I've packed it with different kinds of survival gear for my to go bag.The quality is not bad at all for the price. Many little features that made this bag a nice fit for me. Including the many sizer straps that holds the bag secure together. The top is an easy open hatch style.Great for a low budget alternative.
