Adora 18-inch Doll, Amazing Girls Furry & Fabulous Jada (Amazon Exclusive)

I rarely ever do any reviews but I feel like I should for this since there oddly doesn't seem to be many her here or around the web.Her face and eyes are amazing. In pictures Journey Girls have the best eyes, however in real life she looks like a REAL little girl! The face mold is amazingly lifelike. The eyes (beautiful!!!) do open and close.Skin tone great. She has a sqeezable soft vinyl face. Vinyl arms and legs. Her shoulders and chest are only vinyl for a few inches then she has a very soft stuffed body.Arms and legs move better than Journey Girls (she has a bit of outward or horizontal arm movement) but not quite as good as the American Girl doll. And she can stand on her own. But her neck movement is where she shines! She can turn her head up or down in multiple directions.She has a lot of hair (rooted not wigged) that softer than both Journey Girls & American girls hair. It curls a lot but never tangles and is as smooth as silk! Almost too smooth as her headband kept wanting to slip off. Though rooted they did a pretty good job of not having too many gaps which I find to be an issue with most rooted dolls (I think Journey girls has also improved in this area since originally indroduced).Its all in the shoes. The quality of her shoes is great! I also like how they sowed her dress just tight enough to not ride up. Didn't realize until she came that her headband has sequin.The package she came in is also of such great quality I'm keeping it. Also they tied her in with ribbons. A nice touch!I will say however, please DON'T buy this for a child under 8 years old unless they have really good hand and eye coordination. I'd hate to see this doll broken so quickly as I think she WILL be a collector's iteam worth hundreds (probably thousands) one day.Amazon did an amazing job creating this doll. Felt like they did their homework. I'll try to include pictures comparing comparable dolls from Pleasant Company (1990s) & Journey Girls.

This was a Christmas gift for a 5 year old who wasn't quite enthralled with Barbie’s world. She says she likes doll because she can hug it and its not hard and stiff. My granddaughter is very picky when it comes to her toys. I plan to buy another one for her birthday.

So, if you read my review for Amazing Girl Sam, then you already know how in love I am with this doll line. I am an adult doll and action figure collector who collects everything from the highest of the high end dolls to the most basic cheap play dolls. In the category of 18” dolls, the Adora Amazing Girls are my absolute FAVORITE dolls!Jada is no exception. Her face is honestly the cutest face I’ve ever seen on an 18 doll. I was initially afraid that her hair would be really tough to manage, but it’s not at all. It’s so silky, full, and curly and you can run your fingers through it without catching a knot. You can brush her hair for hours, and her beautiful curls bounce right back into place. Her eyes are GORGEOUS! These dolls have the best eyes I’ve ever seen on an 18” doll. And one of my favorite features is the head mobility. She can look up, and that is just the cutest thing.These dolls, in my opinion, surpass the American Girls every step of the way. I prefer rooted hair to wigged hair, I find the hair to be much more silky than the American Girls and also easier to manage. The amount of pieces the doll comes with for clothing is greater than the more expensive American Girls, and of the same quality.Truly, these are my favorite 18” dolls. I hope more characters are coming, because if so, Adora will own my wallet.These are my honest opinions. I’ve never received a gift or payment for a review.

Pictures do NOT do this doll justice. She is beautiful. Everything about her is just lovely. I picture her here in the dress I made her right away. I have tried to get pictures that really show how lovely she is and it is just not easy. Some of the reviews seemed to complain about her looks, but she indeed is a beautiful doll. Very well made, lovely eyes, hair is fine - I make doll clothes and won't be doing anything to her hair except putting it up, so cannot report on hair care issues really. I bought her on a warehouse deal, and the box and the doll were pristine, with absolutely no damage. Such a nice price and such a nice surprise to get her in absolutely new condition. I have bought three warehouse deal dolls here and all have been in perfect condition, absolutely never taken out of the boxes, but the others had a slightly damaged box, which doesn't bother me at all since these weren't gifts, but this one - well - she was giftable. :)

My co-workers and I "adopted" a deserving family for Christmas. Two of the young girls were asking for American Girl dolls. Knowing this was out of the budget, I came across a 1-day Amazon special on some Adora dolls. I decided to order 2 of the dolls - Jada and Sienna. When they arrived I was awestruck at how beautiful they were! I was impressed with the quality of the dolls, their outfits and the packaging! Their hair and face were beautiful! I thought they were better than the American Girl dolls, at a much more reasonable price.

Purchased this doll for my grand daughter for her birthday. I cannot wait to give this to her, she will love her. I have purchased other 18" dolls for her but never a Adora Amazing Doll thru Amazon before. This Jada doll is beautiful. Her hair is soft, facial expression is adorable and every detail from her eye lashes, toes and fingers is very well done. Her clothing is well made and fashionable too. So glad I made this purchase. She is a beautiful doll!

Bought this as Christmas gift for my daughter so The doll itself is beautiful but her accessories looks cheaply made, like I can see the glue on her shoes and the shoes don't even fit good even though its doll you can still tell it's tight
