Merrell Men's Moab 2 Vent Mid Hiking Boot

Great fit and very comfortable!

This is probably my new go to boot for warm weather. They fit perfectly out of the box with absolutely no break in time whatsoever. I will say the only time I didn’t enjoy wearing them was when I was in Kuwait which at that point any footwear is not gonna do well even with ventilation. Overall a super solid boot that breathes very well.

This is my third pair. I am able to use these for work and everyday use. They last me aboout 3 years before I wear them out and have to replace them. I keep a new pair for casual outings and as they start to show alot of wear I turn them into every day use and really put them through the ringer.

I have worn a number of Merrell shoes/boots and am quite pleased with the construction, comfort and durability of them all. The one thing that prevented me from giving a five star rating was the size. Very first pair bought about six years ago were size 11 and a bit too short. A subsequent pair, different model, was size 12 and still a bit snug. Would recommend going to an actual store to verify the right size needed then if appropriate price-wise order on line. Recent pair bought, the Moab 2, is a bit roomy length wise - go figure? I noticed that earlier models had been made in China while the Moab 2 was made in Viet Nam. This might be a quality control issue Merrell should look into.

The same footbed can fit different feet differently but, for my dogs, Merrill offers a high-quality product at a very reasonable price ... reasonable enough that this is my 4th pair of Merrill hiking boots / shoes.

This is a great lightweight hiking boot. Had a non-wide pair for over 6 years and got great wear out of them. My foot got injured and I needed a wider shoe and tried several other brands that had extra extra wide sizes and still couldn't find a comfortably wide shoe. I finally tried the 2E wide version of this MOAB shoe and it is just perfect, wide and comfortable as the 4E and 5E sizes of other brands and the toe box wasn't too pointy either. One wide shoe I tried was wide enough but narrowed too quickly and my toes were jammed. These were just right, so if you need extra extra wide, don't be scared off by the 2E, give them a try.

this is the boot for hiking dirt trails (mostly flat) I live in Arizona and we have lots of soft dirt trails, these are the perfect shoe for miles of walking. I recently bought two pair and plan a few more. Very comfortable, rugged shoe for walking trails.

They're a nice set of boots. I have done alot of hikes in these, very comfy from the start. Would like to point out if you hike off trail in brush you may want to get a pair of high top boots because stuff will easily get into these boots. But, other that, very good hiking boots.
