Aztec Skull Head Figurine Display Decoration

I have purchased a number of "life size" skulls, and so I was use to the idea of pulling the skull product out of the box, yet this one actually disturbed me upon first sight! Like first gazing upon it, my mind flashed to some sort of Aztec curse for having the object, removed from some previous sacred resting place, which was a totally cool first impression! Unlike all the other skulls I have, this one has raised relief designs, is large in size, by comparison to other skull products, and has the unique tiny little cracks like it has been around a long time. The designs look like they made the effort to be respectful and true to the art of the culture. The design features what looks to me like the Aztec deity Coyolxauhqui, as well as thirsty Tlaltecuhtli.

I purchased this Aztec Skull Figurine last year. When I saw it on Amazon I knew that I had to have it to decorate my classroom. The dimensions are 6.5"H x 7"L x 5"W. The circumference of the skull is 21". It is made of resin and is quite a beautiful skull. All of the designs that you see are carved into the resin. The kids in my classroom really like this skull. They hold it and look at all the designs and remark about how cool it is. If you need Aztec-inspired decorations, you can't go wrong with this one.

This was purchased for a gift and the recipient loved it. The detail is rather good and the item has a nice weight.If skulls are your thing, this is one for the collection.

Not the quality and craftsmanship

I gave this to a friend for Christmas and she loved it! Beautiful detail that is not so clear in the pic. Great gift for those you love skulls!

The detail on this item is fantastic, and the patina is also well done. You'll be surprised at the actual size of this thing. We used it for a Halloween trophy topper and it was a huge hit. A great buy.

Well made life size skull. Aztec motifs are very close to traditional Aztec art.Motifs are clearly displayed and the entire skull has a lifelike texture.Light weight polyresin design, and durable.Unique display item that well certainly peak interest in any home.

Looks exactly like the photo. Doesn't break easily. Has a good weight to it, and sits alone nicely.
