I am an Engineer on the Pixel team at Google and have been reviewing USB cables and adapters for compatibility with Pixel and Nexus devices.FRiEQ's USB 3.1 Type A to USB Type-C cable meets the USB Type-C specification. It correctly uses a 56K' pullup resistor to identify itself as "Default USB Power" meaning that Type-C devices connected to this cable will safely charge from whatever USB Type-A port you plug the other end into.Of note with this cable is that it is a SuperSpeed cable, meaning that the cable contains all of the wires necessary to support USB 3.1 at 5gbps. This cable can be used with the new MacBook for example in Target Disk Mode, which requires SuperSpeed.This is the first SuperSpeed cable of this kind that I have found on Amazon that is *also* USB Spec compliant.

Buyer beware. I was impressed initially of how good the quality seems. However, the screen protector will not stick on your screen. I installed the protector perfectly. problem is that the curved edge will leave open spaces. Its also difficult to swipe down the top down menu due to its clunky design.After putting botb screen on, they both had issues. It will last two days, then it will not stay on. Typing on screen u just feel its flimsy.I got frustrated and went to five below store to get a $5 screen protector. That one sticks way better than this crap.Do not buy

Application was easy and there was no air bubbles but it didnt last more than 4 days before it cracked in multiple places from just being in my purse...

Both pieces in two pack didn't stick well. First kept popping off, the second had large gap allowing dirt and hair into the screen. The material was thick making any typing on phone difficult/had to push extremely hard.

Both protectors broken. Shipping and product packaging in perfect shape. But both broken. Have to ship back to amazon for refund. Waste of money and time

My apologies to you, I took the blame by indicating that the board had too many 3.1 USB ports. That would never be the case, as I'm sure you are aware. The real reason I returned it was because speeds using the FRiEQ Hi-speed USB 3.1 Type C pci board were slower than my 3.0 pci adapter board I bought serveral years ago. I used CrystalDisk 3.0 as my speed tester. Thank you for fast refund! Amazon kept the shipping, as it appeared to be my fault for ordering an adapter with too many ports.

Within 2 days of putting this onto my phone it cracked, put the 2nd one on & again today it cracked, that's 2 screens in a week I have gone through & let me add I haven't dropped my phone or done anything that would have caused screen cracks.Save your money & do not buy these.

Just reviewed the new version of this cable. Does not work with Aukey and Anker wall chargers and car charges in rapid charging mode. Previous model did without a problem. Quality control must be going downhill at FRiEQ.PREVIOUS REVIEW - PERFECT mobile charging cable when paired with a Nexus 6P-compatible car charger. It will charge in rapid charging mode!
