Fluval Razor Algae Magnet with Blade Black/Red

So this is a little bit more pricey than other algae magnets on the market, but this is one of the best I've used.The scrapper blade is not very wide but the fact that it so easily and flawlessly removes algae from the glass, it doesn't take long to do the whole tank.Just watch your fingers when snapping the two magnets together out of the water!!

Strong magnet, good scrubber but scrapper scratched glass on my tank!

Bought for the removal of black beard algi, evan though it only scrapes it from the glass, it does it well. Tried for ages with the standard glass cleaner to no avail

I think a little more thought should have been put in to the overall design. The handle design doesn’t suit well to elderly hobbyists who might have mobility issues with their hands (myself included). I found the overall product a disappointment from such a well known manufacturer in the aquarium trade. Would have returned product if I hadn’t used it in my mixed reef system

This is a great product, good to clean filter casing where blade doesn't cut plastic away. Great for cleaning glass with blade and soft pad, magnet is very strong!

This scraper has been a game changer for our wall tank where access is difficult and long handled scrapers are too awkward. We get very hard algae that normal magnetic cleaners don't touch, but the blade cleared the lot including corraline algae.It gets round all the tight corners without me causing a rock fall, and as a bonus I no longer get bitten by the territorial clown fish!The inside bit does sink if you happen to drop it when you detach the outside magnet (no fear of it detaching by accident, it is a very strong magnet) but if you have a deep tank there's a handy hole to tie a bit of thread through as a rescue line; I use a nerf bullet as a bouy!Before and after pics of what a good job it did.

What a positive surprise when using the Fluval Razor the first time.I removed even days old algae from the glass and the trick switching from material to the razor blade is genius.I have a 90cm high fish tank and since using the Fluval Razor I never hat to use and sponges or needed to go into the tank to remove algae. from the glasswork..

I was a little skeptical of the shape at first as most scrubbers are big, fat, blocks with Velcro scrubbing surfaces. This thing has 2 separate sides that do different things, but it does them incredibly well!The scrubber side does as good a job with the brown algae as my previous "block", and the long shape means a single pass can take it off. But the crème with this thing really comes out with the steel blade. I was able to scrape the depths of my 125 without issue or scratches, and it even took off the green dot algae with ease.With its dual purposes and effectiveness, this tool just replaced my OG algae scrubber, my long handled steel blade (that scratches), and my long handled scrub brush. Worth every penny.5 Stars.

Être brosse aimant, est pas mal... La lame devant marche du tonnerre..La prise en main, pour ma part, n'est pas super... ( Trop fin) ...Attention lors du passage, a bien faire des mouvements de va et viens, a l'horizontale ... Sinon, risque de rayure si vous faites un massage a la verticale ..
