Love it
I have had this for quite a few months and it is the only hair tool (among a sea of many) that has stayed permanently on my bathroom counter. I have very poufy, thick, Italian hair. Not curly, not straight...just in between so it always looks messy. After I wash and condition, I use a good leave in smoothing creme. I left it air dry about 70-80 percent and then I take the Sultra to the a few areas to and let the rest of my hair stay in its natural state. After it's all dry I run some shine serum through it all and all done. The Sultra makes your hair shiny and smooth. It's very slippery (in a good way) so your hair won't snag or tear. No more hair dryer or flat iron. as my hair is getting longer, I wish it had a larger barrel but it's not a complaint, just a wish.

Much Easier Than the Old Hair Blower/Brush Routine
Sultra After Hours ThermaLite Dryer Brush. This multipurpose hair tool offers the user the ability to quickly, rather easily, all things considered, dry, style and volumize the hair. This as it utilizes the maker’s exclusive ThermaLite technology to hydrate, strengthen, promote healing of the hair and scalp, lock in many styles. Sultra’s luxury line of hair styling tools was launched in 2010, in Los Angeles, where these hair essentials are still designed and tested. The item is lightweight, ergonomically designed. It offers far infrared technology to help heal hair & scalp, rejuvenate the scalp, help remove excess build up, promote healthy hair growth. And an ion emitter that produces a continuous flow of 100% electrically charged molecules, creating frizz-free, healthy looking hair. For best results, use the flat vented brush attachment for smooth finish; the round brush attachment for volume and waves.A salon professional recommended this item to me as the best available hairbrush dryer, and I find I do like it. It does dry the hair fast. It is much easier to use than the old hair blower/brush arrangement, whose use always eluded me. It leaves my hair looking straight, but volumized. Good on you, Sultra.

All ready falling apart
This is really a poor dryer/styler. For starters all the lettering for the heat settings has already rubbed off and I have only used it about 10 times. I always let my hair dry 80 - 90% before using, the lower setting takes forever and the high setting just fries my hair. The round brush doesn't curl my hair or give it anymore lift then if I used a round brush even though the ad says it gives a lot of volume. I used it today and the power went up and down by itself so I messed with the switch and sure enough it is starting to fail. This was the worst piece of junk I have ever purchased. They only give a 30 day return policy, now I see why because it starts to fall apart after 30 days. What a waste and what a poor company for not doing a better return policy. Don't waste your money.

Too hot
I am returning this Dryer Brush because it is very hot and the company provides a heat resistant glove with your purchase. I placed the round brush attachment and it became very hot in just a matter of seconds. If I need the glove ... what will it do to my hair?

There needs to be a setting between fry your hair hot and blow dry with a warm whisper.
This blow dryer/styler is okay. I was a little disconcerted when I first turned it on and turned it to high and the bottom started to glow bright orange. I think this is probably a little hotter then what my hair needs on a daily basis. When I turned it to the lower setting I couldn't seem to get my hair dry in a reasonable amount of time so it seems like there needs to be a setting somewhere in between fry your hair and softly blow. I used the round brush in the first picture of my hair and I used the plastic brush on the other one. The side that I used the metal round brush surprised me a bit. I thought I would like this because I would be able to get some curl out of it but it just really made my hair look fried and like I had a million split ends. when I tried the other side and used the flat brush to do a straighter style I don't think it was as damaging on my hair. (See pics)I have a much larger version of this kind of brush /blow dryer with an oval type brush and it gives my hair nice volume. I also feel like it doesn't damage my hair quite like this one does. I didn't get the volume out of this one at all. My shoulder length bob that has very long layers in it and I really did think that the small barrel would let me put a little more flip in it. I didn't feel like I could hold it on there as long as it needed to curl without frying the ends. Overall, I like the flatter plastic brush but don't think I would ever use the round. This product rates a three star from me. For what I would use it for I don't believe this is the best value. If you have heartier thick coarse hair this might be a better solution for you. My fine thin air is just not the right fit for it.

It’s okay. Best for getting volume on short hair.
I have owned MANY hair tools. I had a similar dryer to this in the early aughts made by Jilbère (now ConairPro). I loved it. I would use it on towel dried or damp hair to add volume and reduce frizz. Then my hairstyle changed, I grew it out, and started using a flat iron more often. But I have short hair again, so I was happy to try this out. Maybe this one is not as good, or maybe I remember my old one as being better...but I just wasn’t impressed. I wasn’t looking for it to dry my hair from completely wet. I wasn’t even looking for curls...I only wanted some good volume in the bangs and crown areas. I think the bristles on the round brush are just too stiff. My hair kept getting caught each time I tried to roll it in the traditional blowout/curling fashion. It was like those old plastic brush curling irons. My hair didn’t like it. And because I couldn’t get a consistent rhythm going, my hair ended up frizzy. This would probably work better on shorter hair than mine. My hair is a blunt cut, and the length is above my chin and at the nape in the back.I think Sultra is overrated. I bought the Bombshell and was never impressed.
