I use this for EVERYTHING (but haven't tried pizza yet!)
This thing is freaking awesome. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. This is much faster than using a pan on the stove! I love slicing up onions and putting hamburger patties on top, closing the lid, and flipping once. It makes the absolute BEST burgers. Then I toast my buns on the cooker so they get all of the delicious flavor from the burger, omg, that's making me hungry. Cooks perfect bacon, chicken cooks quickly without getting tough, makes fabulous grilled cheese or hot sandwiches, pancakes, eggs, anything you can imagine. The only drawback - and solution - that I have is that lifting the top often results in a steam burn. I have discovered that by using a pot holder or kitchen towel, I can eliminate hurting myself. It's worth it, though.Clean up is easy although the cooker is bulky and doesn't come apart. I just wash it and then leave it open upside down over my kitchen sink to fully dry. You can always dry it with a towel, but I like letting it air dry before I close it to eliminate the risk of getting any kind of mold from closing it up while it's still somewhat damp.

Perfect for our needs
Read and read and read reviews. There is just the two of us...80 & 70 years old. We are not pizza people but decided to get this with our money back from credit card, so cost us $0.00.No control over temperature, but not an issue.Followed instructions to prepare it.First thing I cooked was sunny side up eggs, sausage links, hash browns. Sprayed the pan, put in potatoes and sausages on two separate areas and shut the lid. Waited a minute or so and checked on food. Great! Cooking from top and bottom. Lid shut, check, etc. Then moved food to the side and put in two eggs. Shut the lid and they cooked perfectly.Next made fried potatoes. Perfect. Bacon wrapped asparagus. Etc etc etc. Even buttered two pieces of Italian bread and placed them on griddle and were perfect. The best thing ever for making omelets. I prepare veggies & meat for filling. Remove from griddle, pour eggs into pan, shut lid, wait a bit, check. Put fillings of choice down the middle. Fold sides over as an omelet, close lid and finish cooking. Oh my!Can cook with lid closed or with lid open and use as a grill. For just two people it saves time and $. Why turn on multiple burners when can happen just cook quickly with this "pizza maker".Do Not use metal utensils on this surface. Take care of it. I just wait for it to cool and clean it with dish cloth. Don't put in sink or dishwasher. Kind of just like cleaning a waffle iron.Still haven't used it for pizza. Tonight is portabella mushrooms for burgers.

Works excellent for a few years then… kaput
Love this little cooker for almost everything. Quesadillas, soft tacos, open face sandwiches, reheating all kinds of foods, making biscuits, cookies, hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled cheese, bacon and eggs… and of course, pizza and pizza rolls. On an average my family and I probably use this 3-4 times a week for various items.Recently learned how much I was missing in life when I discovered parchment paper and using it with this pizza cooker. Parchment paper is the answer to all your cooking and cleaning woes. Trust me and give it a try. It’s been 3 years and sadly, today my little pizza cooker died. Just died. Lights came on but no heat whatsoever. I took it apart and can’t find anything that looks suspicious. All the wiring is intact, clean, and dry. Tried another outlet and still nothing works except the lights on top. Thankfully I have a backup at the camper. Whew.Still even with the lifespan cut short, 10 out of 10 recommend and would buy again.

Frozen pizza made easy
This is by far the best way to cook a frozen pizza, there is no need to heat up the oven and the pizza is cooked in about 10 minutes. The crust comes out crisp and the cheese and toppings are done perfectly. There is virtually no cleanup, just wipe it with a damp paper towel. I’ve also made quesadillas in it and they were good too. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable pizza maker that really works.

Great for outside!
After researching outdoor pizza ovens, I opted to go with this electric pizza maker. We love to be outside in our gazebo or camping in the summer and this seemed to be the most convenient for both scenarios. I bought for the hubby for Father’s Day and we just tried it today with some thin frozen store pizzas. They tasted better than ever before! Just a tip: The way we knew they were getting close to done, was when steam started coming out the side of the unit. I can’t say how it would do on a thicker pizza, but if you like a Jack’s or Tombstone, this works perfect.

It works!
I was dubious about this gadget, but I am really impressed with how it just performed on its first out of the box test. I bought a cheap frozen pizza, just for testing the parameters of time and temp. I threw on a bit of extra whole milk mozzarella and a few slices of pepperoni, added some oregano and tossed it in the machine for 15 minutes. Wow. The crust was perfect, jut like I loved it in new Jersey (not limp an soggy), and everything was also perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this appliance.

I wanted to love this, but I feel it's unsafe
I just burned my thumb on this. It is easy to use and cooks well, but some design flaws make it very risky from a burn perspective, and I wouldn't buy this same version again. 1) High risk of steam burn based on the placement of the handle/grip to lift the lid 2) it is built like a clamshell but gets unbalanced when the lip opens and gets very tipsy on my counter. It has nearly flipped on my center island onto the floor. Both of these make safety an issue. I've been weary of this thing since I bought it about a year ago, but after burning myself tonight, I'm ready to get rid of it. I might shop around because if I found something similar, but with these flaws addressed for improved safety, I'd buy another
