Used it twice, having 2 batteries to allow longer work time was nice while it lasted. This last weekend I was using it and it quit after 5 min of use (cutting drywall). The battery will not charge and the charger claims the battery is bad - after using it twice and charging it twice with the Craftsman charger!!!??? Luckily the original 10 yr old battery is still functioning.This battery is a piece of junk. Do not believe all the glowing reviews. Look elsewhere for quality product.

3 Stars for Amazon’s and the sellers‘ customer service response and the one time I used the new battery....Bought in April 2020. I fully charged it upon arrival but stored it and did not use it until August 2020 when it lasted 20 full minutes of near constant use before depleting the charge, impressive but expected. I was notching the bottom ends of 3/4”fence boards for tree root clearance with a new blade with my Craftsman cutter. Upon trying to charge the battery the charger and its lights began cycling on/off rapidly. I assume the Craftsman charger has protective relays in case of faulty batteries as I heard a relay clicking in time with the green charger light flashing on/off. My other, older original battery did not do this when tried in the charger for comparison. Disappointing....Kudos to Amazon customer service for routing my request for replacement (outside the 30 day exchange window) quickly and for the great response from Anson at batterycentre.com. It took about a week but I now have another new battery. Time will tell. The company’s one year warranty saved the day so if you buy one of these be sure to use it in that time in case the same thing happens to you.

This battery was ordered for use in my Craftsman impact driver as a replacement for the original battery.As most know, when sold battery-operated tools, the idea is to sell a person replacement batteries also. My battery finally wore out. I was concerned about ordering an after-market battery in lieu of a Craftsman battery, but the price was considerably less. Thus, it was decided to order this battery.The battery came partially charged, but I initially plugged the battery into a charger and brought it to full power overnight. It has stayed charged and has lasted through my testing to see if it would run down quickly. It did not run down. It has stayed at a good power level and has not had any noticeable loss of power as yet. In addition, the battery has kept the impact driver at its maximum speed during the tests.BOTTOM LINE: I like this battery, and if needed would order it again in the future.

Haven't used it for more than a few minutes, so I can't speak for the life or longevity yet. But they had it, it charged up properly and it fits. A bit pricey, but what can you do? Saved an otherwise useless tool. Nobody has the genuine ones except resellers asking a mint for them. (the original supplier's website shows them on sale for under $15.00, but you can't actually get them unless there is an open store near you) So this will have to do.

This battery did not keep charge. Used once for 20 minutes then would not recharge. Tried on different rechargers.Nothing compared to my original Craftsman Nextec batteries which lasted for years.

Quit accepting a charge after 4 months or use. Not a craftsman item.

I have charged the battery once and it is getting intermittent use. So far so good. After I have used the battery for some period of time, I will come back and re-review the product. In case you can't find it in the information, the battery is Chinese made.

this replacement battery is awesome. Lasted for over an hour of almost continued use on trimming out our door jams with the oscillator. The old battery wouldn't last 15 minutes. Very impressed.
