One Thing You Can't Do in Heaven

I am enjoying this book so much that it's hard to put down. Great book by a man that cares about people going to heaven. Alot of great ideas on how to approach and talk to people about Jesus Christ.

I always struggle with sharing my faith. This book gives ways that are practical, friendly and insightful. I'm truly inspired.

This is an excellent book every Christian should read. I consider myself an avid soulwinner. I hand out tracts everywhere I go and try to share the gospel as often as I can. This book is challenging and encouraging me to be more faithful in winning the lost. It also has some great tips for conversation starters and transitioning conversations to spiritual topics. If you want to share your faith, but don’t know how, or just want to learn tips to become more comfortable sharing your faith, this book is for you.

When I moved to a new town recently, I joined a Christian Church where I felt very welcomed. One of the members gave me a book to read. This was it. I was curious as to the one thing you cannot do in heaven. I tried to imagine what it could be but couldn't. So I started reading the book. Then I started taking notes. This was an excellent book that reiterated what the bible already tells us: that we as Christians are responsible for bringing the lost to The Lord. We live in a world that is turning away from God. People are hurting and they are looking for a cure but they are looking for it in alcohol, drugs, sex, pornography, and on and on. Self-hatred and self-loathing are running amuck. Many people feel lost. Many of them only need someone bold enough to reach out to them and just strike up a conversation that will make them think about their faith, God, heaven and hell. This book was very empowering and should be on every bookshelf of every Christian In the world. Since reading this book, I downloaded the free Study Guide and have been delving even deeper into my role. In addition, I've put pride aside (because, face it, that's what keeps us from talking to others about Jesus Christ) and I talk to most people, total strangers, colleagues, and friends about what Christ has done in my life. The more it do it, the more I want to do it. We are not here to make them Christians. We are here to plant a seed and to let The Lord do all the work.

I'm not a big fan of reading, my eyes get tired and my head starts hurting (I probably need glasses) however this book is so clearly written it gets it's points across so well. You can feel the author's passion for God leaping off the page. I love the liberal usage of analogies to get his points across. No other book makes my heart yearn for the next opportunity to share the Gospel quite like this one.

I loved the author’s style of witnessing! Mark allowed the reader to walk with him and share the experience in witnessing through his storytelling skills! Powerful

I really enjoyed the way Cahill gave his experiences in witnessing and what he has found to be the most effective in evangelism (including specific points and questions to ask or discuss with non-believers). An easy read and also a great read for those who desire to further their knowledge in evangelism.

One Thing You Can't Do in Heaven is a book that has completely changed my life. I always knew I should be sharing and witnessing to others but I never knew how. Mark Cahill makes his point very clear that what we 'should' be doing by witnessing is actually done by very few Christians. Mark gives an explaination of the how to open the conversation, share, overcome objections, etc. After reading this book, I began actually sharing my faith for the first time. I don't want any tickets in my pocket when I get to heaven (read the chapter). This book is so good that I purchased multiple copies to give out to every Christian friend I have and have extras available for when I run into Christians who aren't witnessing because of fear or that they just don't know how. This is a MUST have for every Christian!!!

This book is a real challenge to christians as to how and if we witness. The book is also full of scripture and ideas to help in witnessing. The authors own experience is a great encouragement to just get on with it - to obey - to do what Christians do - to move out of our comfort zone and into the will of the Lord.
