This is a very good book. The problem is that the field is changing so rapidly it is difficult to keep up with the implementation of PPACA and its implications. The book does a great job of communicating some important basic and advanced topics. I have read about 6 chapters as the required text for the GBA designation. So far I enjoy it...

It's a good book for preparing for CEBS testing. As an experienced industry professional, I find it sometimes academically accurate, but not always applicable to real world practice.

It may be long and difficult reading but it is thorough and has all the info you need for CEBS. Can NOT be used without the learning guide to study for GBA 1-3 (the exam is not chronological by chapter). Thankful for online version on my tablet as a train commuter who can't (won't?) lug around a 20 pound book.

This item is a good resource for benefits information. Th we information is organized and is easy to comprehend.Only the truely touched cozy up to such a read on a Friday or Saturday night, but if life dictates, it good stuff.

This book was highlighted like crazy. That was not mentioned in the description. Very unhappy about that.

a must have book for any benefits professional. Every time this book is updated, I buy a new one for updates yet keep the old one for historic perspective. Buy this version, buy the versions that came before this version and buy the next version when it comes out.
