This costume was perfect for Halloween and for the many many magic shows my son has put on. The hat and cape are extremely well made with a very plush fabric. The vest is slightly on the thin side but adds a nice touch to make the ensemble seem authentic. Yes, I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I bought two of these sets for two of my grandsons. I bought the medium because they were 9 & 10 years old and they were perfect fits. Loved the capes and vests! Based on the picture of the hat, I thought we would probably not care for it - and I was right. The hat is more like an "Alice in Wonderland" design. However, the cape and vest are perfect! The cape can be used as a musketeer, knight, magician, pirate.... etc. The cape's fabric is very nice and well-sized.

This arrived SUPER quick, and being that it is the week before Halloween, it couldn't have been better timing! I bought it for my 8 year old, while sitting in the fabric store's parking lot. We were ready to head in and buy fabric to make our Halloween costume, when I had the brainstorm to check Amazon first . . . and I'm glad I did! For the price, this is such a steal! It's really nice quality, super cute, and my girls love it! The cape and hat are a velour type material which feels really nice. The cape is 2 layers - the black side and the red inner panel, so it's thick and durable. It has a lovely gold accent along the edge which makes it look rich and finished - much better than anything I would have dreamed up at the fabric store. The hat is big and dramatic. Reminds me of the hat in Alice in Wonderland. The vest is thin, but accents the whole costume well. The magic wand feels like it's just a cardboard tube. So if anything goes first, it will probably be the wand getting split in half at some point. My girls have been wearing black pants and a white shirt underneath and it looks great. For sizing, the set fits my 8 year old who is about 4'7", and it also fits my 4 year old who is about 3'8". Overall, couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Very nice, well made shoes but very disappointed in the color. Description was black & GREEN but when the shoes arrived I would call them black & yellow.

My 5 year old granddaughter was given a magician kit for her birthday and I recently bought this outfit for her. Although the cape is long on her, she looks fantastic in this outfit and can perform her magic tricks even better as she feels like a real magician. And she will wear this outfit for quite a while as she has plenty of room to grow, not the product fault, my fault for ordering the wrong size, but we all like that the cape is floor length, adds to the drama.

Cape is beautiful, good quality. However hat is very big and looks weird on the head and keeps sliding down. No time to shop for new costume now, i will need to make homemade magician hat now.

Our 5-year-old nephew has been enjoying magic tricks with his Dad to the extent that he's now "performing" some of his own on video. That in mind, I took the opportunity of giving this item as a recent birthday gift. After all, what self-respecting 5-year-old magician's repertoire is complete without the classic magician's cape/vest, hat and baton? I don't know who loved the gift more, him or all the adults in the room who were instantly charmed by his new magic duds. Not only is the attire 'precious' on younger kids, it really does "look the part," and I was pleased that the fabric and overall construction were substantial enough to justify the [moreover reasonable] price. I have no regrets re: this purchase, nor should you.

This worked very well for my 6 year old's first magic show. Looked good on stage. The cape is perfect. The vest is a thin, shiny "costume-y" piece but does the job. The hat was big but that just made him cuter. I bought the medium and my son is 50 inches tall and 60 pounds. Fit perfectly.

Très belle cape pour un déguisement de magicien, de qualité infiniment supérieure à ce que l’on trouve habituellement en magasin pour le même prix.Le gilet est en polyester. Si écrasé dans l’envoi, le chapeau est un peu haut mais fidèle à la photo, on le remet en forme facilement en le bourrant quelques heures. J’ai simplement un peu « galéré » pour le repassage de la cape et du gilet car il faut utiliser du sopalin et la vapeur afin d’avoir une température suffisante du fer pour défroisser efficacement le polyester sans le brûler . La taille ( L, 12-14 ans) est exacte, cape assez grande , elle arrive au dessus du genou pour un adulte de 1,65m et arrivera donc à mi-mollets à mon petit fils de 1,40m.Le gilet lui sera peut-être un peu grand .Il y a aussi une baguette magique dans le paquet.
