Very Good quality and very good price. My son loves this bat.

5 full stars... Best pop / sweet spot. Best for teaching quick hands and fast swing. Low vibration when missing the sweet spot (though, I recommend hitting gloves for both hands). The competitor bats are larger diameter and seemed harder for my son to control. My son hit far better with this bat vs the competitors. We were turned on to this bat through a high level college baseball player.

The media could not be loaded.  My son plays 7u, but he's tall and can handle 27-inch bats, so I bought him a 27-inch. First of all, he loved the color, second, it's a lightweight bat which helps him dominate the swing in these early categories and last but not least, wow, what a bat. The bat is of very good quality, when he takes it half by half he hits the fence.

This is a good bat for kids moving up to developmental leagues where they are learning to hit: coach-pitch or when kids are just learning to pitch. Drop 12 weight makes the bat lighter for quick swings, and it is balanced well to keep swings level. My kid was using the same size/weight bat with a much larger 2-3/4" in. barrel, but his swings kept dipping too low because the weight is focused on the end of the barrel. His swings are smoother across the plate with this bat. Level swings mean more chance for contact.Beware my bat is actually 0.5 oz. heavier than advertised (it weighs 16.5 oz. for 28 in. bat); but it is still an excellent value at this price. I do not recommend for teenagers; it is far too light and likely won't hold up to competitive play. This bat is made for younger kids.

My 13 year old son got the 32 inch version of this bat. He hit a lot of balls hard with it in the batting cage. He used it in a baseball camp and impressed the coaches with it. The grip is the nicest one we've seen, and we looked at a lot of bats, some costing over $300. My son prefers bats with 2 1/4 inch barrel, so this is what he was looking for. 2 1/4 inch USA bats are hard to find. He tried 2 5/8 inch bats last year and didn't like them. We paid about $60 for this bat, and he really likes it. Check out the cheaper bats like this one first, you might find a good bat like this without having to pay a fortune. The Easton Typhoon is a very good bat for the price.

My son is very happy with this bat. The weight means he can swing it quickly. The USA stamp and small barrel means it's "legal" for all of is his games. He seems to like the balance of it, too.This bat is one of several he used over the course of the last season. It saw a decent amount of action. It still has the grip tape which came on/with the bat. (Which is in dirty, but undamaged, condition.) It is the 28" version and only weighs 15.1 - 15.2 oz when I balance it by the end of the barrel on our scale. I couldn't get it to balance on the handle--the length sticker is a bit round-- but on its side, it weighed in at 15.5 oz. Conclusion: it is a very light bat, and probably has a bigger drop than listed.

This is one of the best bats I've seen for hardball baseball, for children that are starting to play rookie ball. The length and weight are perfectly matched the color is great. Any player that's moving from t-ball up this is a good starting bat.
