This is the 3 time we have bought of these for our family along with the Carbon monoxide combo.Super Easy to install and test. Do yourself a favor and help increase the chance you will survive a accidental fire in your home.Order these, save money for Awesome Quality, and install them yourself to save money. If you don't know how look it up on youtube.The battery is for backup! 10 year s battey is a good idea for me, no need to replace batteries!
