Seconds well spent.
This insightful little book tells you more than you ever imagined you would want to know about hundreds of scientific subjects, with delightful illustrations adding to the lessons. Highly recommended.

Great Gift
Bought three of these (this, the Math, and the Ideas books) as gifts and they were all very much loved. Great coffee table book for quick reference on subjects you may be interested in but have little knowledge with. The summaries are very easy to read and even knowing a lot of the subjects myself there's a lot to learn. Highly recommend for anyone who likes science, even if you've never studied it before.

Explains concepts in science in an easy way
For anyone interested in broad concepts of science, this is a great introductory book to expand your horizons. It's cute, it speaks in laymen's terms, and it gets the point across. Great to skim through or have on your coffee table as well

Science
I bought this book just for leisure and I think it's a good little book with a lot of info but I can't tell you how accurate the info is though. I would recommend, even my 10 yr old son likes reading this book.

Useful and funny
Reading this book is fun :) You could look at a random page and read and learn something. Interesting concepts and ideas are explained in brief, still the scientific spirit is there :)The illustrations look great on kindle and also on screen.

Gift
When I gave my partner the book he was extremely happy, as a Science teacher this book not only digs into Biology, Chemistry and Physics but other worlds of Science. This appealed to him a lot. Although he didnt have any negative feedback towards the book I do and that is I wish that diagrams were in colour rather than black and white.

Pretty good
Some pages were a little bit damaged as in some top corners were bent a bit, but otherwise great and arrived on time. I bought it as a gift for a friend, who liked this book a lot. It's small, around 12.9 by 12.6 cm and has 415 pages. It's great for summaries of key concepts and very interesting, though I wouldn't recommend it as a study source for school.

You get a lot for your money
I found this to be an easy read which covers a lot of ground, in particular there is quite a lot of introductory molecular biology. People who already have solid natural sciences foundations would probably not learn a lot, but of course may get something from it nevertheless.
