It touches on her problems, which shows the girls that you can have a disability and still have a successful fulfilled life if you look for the areas where your strengths and in her case some "deficits" can serve others. Having grown up with some similar "deficits" with no one to understand or address the problems I know what she had to go through. I personally feel It was these "deficits" that helped her to be able get the GS movement up and running. The book is inspirational without being obvious it is a good read for Brownies and Juniors and perhaps even Cadettes. The stories are presented simply and therefore although you see a delightful character, with some eccentricities you also see a person with a mission that she strongly believes in and how she has given each one of us this gift to enrich our own personal lives 100 years later. This was an amazon purchase

It’s a boook

Lots of new words for fourth graders. Easy read with very interesting details about her life. We will be visiting Savannah soon and I look forward to seeing her birthplace

As I expected the book is in acceptable conditions. They delivered the book in a good timeframe. My daughter is happy with her book choice.

Purchased for my 4th grade daughter's book report - she loved it, I loved it, great read...my only issue was the first chapter, which was JGL's family history and heavy on the Civil War...not fascinating reading for a 4th grade girl!

This book tells the amazing story of Juliette G. Low in a fashion written for younger Scouts, Juniors. A great book to keep at your meetings or give as a gift to the young GS in your life.
