I ordered this to replace an old MP3 player where the sound is starting to fail. It has got some good reviews and from the specifications, seemed to be similar in size to the one it’s replacing, but with twice the internal memory and the possibility to increase this with a much larger external one.Initially I wasn’t impressed with its appearance. The plastic lightweight body made it feel flimsy and although I ordered it in black, only the front is, while the back is neon green. Happily, this makes no difference to my use and enjoyment and the device seems perfectly robust so far.My second concern was that the list of compatible operating systems in the instructions did not include mine. However when I connected the device to my lap top with the charging/data cable provided, it synced with the Windows Media player on the computer without any problem. Adding the music from here was quick and easy.The device arrived already fully charged, so once I had uploaded some music it was good to go. It has been fairly easy to work out what does what, following the screen icons and menus. There is an instruction manual, although it not written in the most fluent English. It is possible to listen to whole albums or select tracks, by artist or genre. I usually leave it on shuffle. The sound quality is very clear and crisp and the headphones are decent too. I have used it everyday since it arrived and haven't had to recharge it yet.There are other things you can do with this device regarding videos and pictures which I haven’t investigated yet and to be honest, I am not sure if I will. I bought this simply to have an easy to use MP3 player to listen to music while walking or travelling. This has amply fulfilled my needs. I have filled up just under half of the memory so far, leaving plenty of room for more. I have even been digging out some albums and tracks I haven’t listened to for years.So far so good.PS - It took 7 weeks of using this for an average of 15 hours a week before it needed re-charging which took a couple of hours. Very happy with the mileage I get out of this.PPS 2019 update - I have been using this for nearly a year now. The only slight issue I have noticed is that when I upload whole albums, some the tracks come out in a different order. This isn't a big problem as most times I have the player on shuffle but a minor irritation if I have a new album I want to listen to on its own and in order.

Okay I was going into hospital for surgery and wanted a way to listen to audiobooks and still leave my expensive tech securily at home. So I bought this. It recharges quickly, can run for a couple of days without a recharge, and was a wonderful way of listening to stuff on those nights I couldn't sleep because of the pain but didn't want to disturb other patients. Cheap, cheerful, lightweight and effective. Its perhaps a little clunky to use, but it only took me a few minutes to work out how all the systems worked. An amazing product if you want an mp3 player you don't mind loosing because its so cheap.

Neat little unit. Easy to transfer music from laptop to MP3 player and good quality sound. It's a great buy for the price and I am really happy with it so far.

This MP3 player is very light and easy to operate, the battery life is incredible! The little machine quality is very good and the sound is excellent. I like it!

My son will be thrilled with this on christmas day. Hes only young so i didnt fancy a super expensive ipod, obviously will buy different headphones as the ones that come with this go in the ear and he wont wear them. (Did test them and they were decent though.) Also got a charger wire and aux cord and rubber case for the mp3 which are all super useful! Lovely and smart looking little gadget. Already charged it and loaded it with songs ready to go under the tree. Im sure he will be as pleased as me.

I used this mp3 for a few days now. Im pleasantly surprised. It does everything what it should. Good quality sound, easy menu to work with and even came with its own aux cable which was a nice bonus. I would definitely recommend this mp3.

The unit itself was ok-ish, but there was a feel to it that I did not like. Tried it for a while but subsequently returned it. A fair budget model, but I decided to opt for something further up the range.

5 stars as this does what it needs to for a fair price. Sound output is perfectly acceptable, and battery life is as described.The user interface is pretty clunky but everything works. I put in a 64Gb card and filled it up.A couple of user points to note before you choose this. You can use a card or internal memory, but not both at the same time. There’s and option to swap between the 2 and the default is internal memory. Secondly, it doesn’t appear that playlists are supported in any of the usually formats. The built in user lists can be built on the device but are Perl scripts. It saw my m3u field but not matter how I transferred them, whether in folders or not, they had no content.I’m not particularly bothered by these factors. It plugs into my car and shuffles around 7,000 tunes and that’s what I wanted!
