The Paw Wash for Dogs, Large

My dog is 65 lb Labrador. Her paws go into it past the joints. She was trained to lay down to let you wipe her paws. So sitting and doing this was been hysterical for the 10 year old princess. She looks embarrassed that I use it and backed out the door the first time my husband tried. she tries to hide her face she's so appalled...TipsDon't over fill it. Use minimal soap. Keep a towel handy. You will do it wrong the first couple of times and then you'll get the hang of it. It helps to have trimmed the dog's fur from between the paw pads but it worked great even before I did that. And when I did trim the paw fur after a wash when I realized the mud was extra bad because of it, it was really easy because most of the mud was gone. Pull the paw out slowly unless you want a bath too.ProsIt gets the tips under the nails and the paws really, really well. SWorks better than a bucket of soap and a rag and easier on my hands and I have less broken nails.ConsIt's trial and error to learn which is why people give it low stars. So expect it to be messy the first couple of times of your wetter season.Count to 20 when swishing. If it's not getting clean, swish longer.The top is kinda tricky so it takes a minute to figure out how it works.I'm getting better and so is she but now, my fur baby is still a puppy at heart so it might be her too. Or it could be the fact that we can't stop laughing at her trying to hide her face in the curtains because she's so mortified.We keep it stocked with room temperature water and ready to go. So no, it doesn't spill. Overall, it works fine. I just need a longer size because she comes back with mud up to her elbows in about 15 seconds...not really sure where she even finds it!

So far so good. Works as advertised. Use for my dog that has allergies. It's a pain to have to wash her paws every time she goes outside, but it seems to help spread the pollen and keeps her from constantly biting/licking her paws. To save money you could easily use a plastic flower vase with soap and water.

This product works like it shows, that's why they now have their own website and LOTS of endorsements!! Brilliant young mind to think of this!! This would make a great gift for anyone with a dog that gets muddy paws. I use it on 3 dogs, who like to brush their hinds legs back after pottying, getting dirt in between their paws and on their nails. This product gets it all off, much cleaner than just wiping their paws. All I'm left with is a wet, clean paw that is a pleasure to wipe dry. Then I don't have to think about them getting dirt on my new carpeting. I'd buy this again!

It wasn't great, always got stuck on my pup's dew claws and never really got his paws clean... I ended up sending it back because of how poorly it worked and was charged to send it back. Pretty unhappy with the whole deal.

The concept is there, just didn't quite work for us. I have a Great Dane mix who is 110lbs. Her paws are too big to get in this without taking the whole top off and then even with her paw in there is not enough water. The water is black with dirt immediately and doesn't come close to getting her feet clean. A bucket of soapy water is what works best for us.

It leaks from the bottom. It took me a few times using it before I realized it—I thought I was just being messy and sloshing water out. When I held it over the sink after filling it yesterday, I saw water dribbling out at the seam. The rubber squeegee comes off with my dog’s leg when I try to pull the paw back out. Way more trouble than it’s worth. Of course, I don’t realize the leak until yesterday—3 days after the return window closed.

This paw wash is Heaven Sent! I live on a small farm and our extraordinary Winter has been so warm and wet for Iowa that my pasture and barn yard have been a quagmire. The Paw Wash cleans the mud from my dogs paws in just a matter of seconds per paw. It keeps me from mopping my floor 4 or 5 times a day.

This product is great. We have 2 pit mixes who love to run around in the mud. They don't love the paw wash and resist it a little bit, but it still makes cleaning their dirty little feet much easier than it would be if we didn't use this. Our friends who own dogs are amazed by this thing when they see us use it.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the product description says the rubber squeegee top gets most of the water off, and it doesn't at all. Doesn't affect the functionality of the product, though, and I still highly recommend it to ALL dog owners.

Idea is good. Does not large enough for my German Shepherd or even my pure bred border collie.
