Legendary Whitetails Mens Quilted Canvas Zip Up Heavy Duty Water-Repellent Vest

This vest is well made and provides a lot of warmth. I have a tall frame (6'5", 200 lbs), and many times a size large will work, but for this order I used the sizing tool that indicated a Large Tall, and it is a PERFECT FIT! The vest sits nicely on my frame, nothing "off" about the fit. The side pockets are especially comfortable, not too low, not too high, not too deep, not too shallow. There are also two inside pockets, one with a zipper and a larger one with a small Velcro patch. I keep my wallet in the smaller zippered pocket and my mobile in the larger Velcro pocket. Very happy with this purchase.

The pictures for this vest are deceiving. It looks thinner and lighter than it is in real life. I just got it today and tried it on over a t-shirt and then the two different jackets I plan to wear it with through our fast-approaching Wisconsin/Minnesota winter. It fits great and the construction seems top notch. It has the four pockets on the front outside, and also two inside pockets that aren't mentioned, one of which has a zipper closure. I'm 6 feet and 240 pounds right now with a lot of it in the shoulders and chest, and of course also some in the midsection. My chest measures about 53-54 inches, which according to the size chart says I should have ordered a 3XL, but I listened to other reviews that said this item mostly runs a bit large and found that to be true. I got the 2XL and like I said, it fits me well over a t-shirt alone, t-shirt and a thin zip hoodie, and t-shirt and a thicker insulated zip hoodie. I was originally looking for a sherpa-lined vest, but thought more about it and went with this quilt-lined vest. The lining doesn't bind against whatever you have under it and makes movement easier because the lining is slippery compared to sherpa. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It does run a bit large, as other reviews have stated, and the 2XL works great for me at 6' and 240 lbs, even with layering. Good construction, soft-but-durable canvas fabric that's comfortable, and the insulation is more than it appears in the pictures, but not bulky. Good pockets, and comfortable to wear. It will serve me well at work this winter and well beyond. I'm thinking I'll probably get a few winters out of this vest, wearing it most of the time I'm on the clock.

Purchased as a gift for my husband who is the authority on outdoor wear, or so he says. He rates this vest 10/10. Quality is unmatched, it’s warm and durable. And comfortable!

Love this vest! As a contractor, I wear a vest almost every day, fall through winter. I broke the zipper on my old cheap vest and decided to buy a better made vest this time. This was absolutely the right choice. Heavy but soft canvas exterior, quilted and insulated interior with a soft fabric collar. I didn't want sherpa or fleece lining, that stuff gets worn and dirty real quick. 1 zipper pocket and one velcro pocket on the inside and i really like the deep side pockets with snaps. 2 upper chest pockets one with a pen slot. Can’t say enough about the quality of this vest and the price is great as well.

I’m 💯 satisfied. I’ve own several Carr-Hartt, Deluth, Big Smith etc. This has a Heavy duty zipper, chest pockets. Hand pockets have a snap closure. Left and right inside pockets. Outside cotton Duck is slightly softer than Carr-Hartt. I feel a Carr-Hartt might be a little more durable but this is a quality vest that looks and feels good to wear. I’d buy again.

Fits true to size, looks great!

This vest is very comfortable and warm. The cotton exterior with the quilted interior is well made. The color is exactly as seen in the picture even after you wash it the first time. It runs a tad large in size, but I assume that's so you can layer. I normally wear XL tshirts, and got this in XL tall to compliment my typical sizing. It's a little roomy so there is space if you want to wear a hoodie underneath this. So happy with this vest, I'd buy it again if I ever need another!

En definitiva es un buen chaleco. El material es de calidad y como se menciona en el perfil es para temporadas o lugares fríos, así que realmente piénselo 2 veces antes de comprarlos para alguna zona cálida o de playa. En cuanto a la talla, sugiero que se tomen la medida en pulgadas, es mas sencillo partiendo de ahí. En mi caso, soy de 51 pulgadas en pecho, y leí un comentario en inglés que la persona tiene una talla de entre 53 y 54 pulgadas por lo que pidió una talla menor a la expresada en la tabla de tallas que hay en el perfil y que le quedo bien, ajustado a la medida. En mi caso, pedí esa talla, la 2XL, ya qué pensé que si a él le quedo ajustado a mi me quedaría un poco más holgado, y estuve en lo correcto, y con ello puedo ponerme alguna sudadera debajo y cierra perfectamente. Ahora bien, si tu intención es que te quede ajustado, si pide una talla menor a la que se menciona en la tabla y la medida de tu talla en pulgadas. Si yo lo quisiera ajustado, hubiera pedido la XL, pero no fue mi caso y así estoy muy bien y contento. En cuanto a los colores, lo que se muestra en la foto es el color real al momento de llegar, ligeramente un poco mas claro, pero es ligero, no hay un significativo cambio de color como con otros productos que, por ejemplo, te muestran un azul rey y te llega un celeste, no, aquí si lo que se muestra es lo que llega. Espero que esta nota le pueda servir en sus compras del producto. Y próximamente me compraré los otros colores. P.D. Yo si vivo en una zona fría, especialmente en otoño e invierno. Saludos.

These are amazing vests, warm and durable. I have two, because I wanted a longer one to go over my shirt jackets, so I bought a tall version. I wear them all winter and I am always toasty.
